As pointed out, the V2L is only one or two NEMA 5-15 (1700W) outlets which is just sipping power. It is V2G that is more of a practical concern for battery longevity. But even this will be limited to shallow cycles which is relatively easy on the battery.
My thought is 15 amp 120 volt is about 1800 watts which is a pretty low draw on the battery even if it was times 2. The person that sees every traffic light as a potential drag race will place much higher demand on the battery, something over 100,000 watts which would quickly create a lot of heat in the battery and potentially damaging it.
1000 watts of power ... would be about 2 full days or so What you might want to do, it see if you can plug 240v back into your house. so you can run your house fridge, and some lights or a microwave. in the house.. during a power outage.
Im planning to get the MG4 51Kwh LFP and use its V2L as part of my daily power consumption. Im hoping the LFP batteries would hold its capacity 85% after 30 years of regular use as a V2L and 20,000km per year of use as a regular car... is that a very big thing to ask for the current battery technology?
Hi, I've worked in the solar and battery industry for 8yrs. From my knowledge I'd be surprised if the battery has 85% health after 8 to 10 yrs. However, I could be proven wrong with more stable storage chemistry

I turn my Leaf on and attach an inverter to the 12v battery to charge my EGO yard tool batteries, when no other source is available. Works well.
Great video, Mike. Thank you.
