Could you bottle feed the orphan calf using the new momma milk to speed up introduction between the two?

This is exactly what we're currently trying to do. We've had the second calf in with the cow for a week but she still butts and kicks at him. I've been stanchioning her so he can nurse, but she still won't let him nurse unless she's stanchioned.
Any suggestions?
