    Watching during 20:22 and seeing the transition patch defaulting to numbers instead of colors is poetic.

    Great to have more content out there for Origami-I'm enjoying this series! 🙌
    As a newcomer to the tool, I'd love to learn more about how to combine all the various Loop and Array patches, if you plan to do more tutorials. Not as much out there on that stuff (that's up to date).

      Thanks a lot Cameron! Honestly I also want to experiment more with those, the Loop system in particular. It's such an interesting (and weird!) model to wrap my head around. I'll see what I can do after the first set of upcoming tutorials!

      Thank you! This is a specialized tool, which I think is great to learn, but I suggest looking up other UI design and Figma tutorials as well! Good luck!

    Hi Wayne, Amazing video. I can't seem to be able to edit the artboard once I'm in patch viewer mode

    • @waynesang
      @waynesang  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hm that's odd! The artboard should stay editable at all times. But to be honest I barely use the artboard, so I might be missing something. Are you still encountering this problem?

    You have a great channel Wayne.I used Framer JS back in the days for prototyping and never got started with Origami Studio. Now I really want to give this a shot. My issue is that the app crashes on start. I tried removing and reinstalling it, but no chance. Also opening it with the "Rosetta" setting. Any ideas how I could get it working? I'm on a M1 Max MacBook Pro. Thank you!

      @waynesang  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Atilla! That is odd about the crashing! I've never had it crash on launch.
      I do know the app doesn't need the Rosetta on, it runs native on Apple Silicon. Beyond that, sorry I don't know what the issue might be. :( You might want to post on the official Facebook group where I think some of the devs may lurk. Maybe they can help.

    You can 100% do that animation and modal tooltip in Figma, maybe not when you made this video? Figma has bounce animations and custom animations

    • @waynesang
      @waynesang  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep, that was added to Figma not long after this video! Love their adjustment controls for it too.
