    very good review ! love the approach you take. not so much about "numbers" spilling, but more about actual experiences in using this monitor. currently contemplating between Dell's U4025QW and this LG monitor ... to my idea the only 2 monitors really suited for office work (1st priority), gaming (latter priority). however I read some negative criticism about screen flickering and instable power, even screens which started "humming" ... did you experience any of that yet ?

    I think that's a good thing for the Apple Watch charger because the watch's weight isn't heavy. And the charging base uses a simple mechanism. To add flexibility to the product To be able to use for a long time

    Great video. About the brain doing funky stuff, actually on Flat 43inch monitors because the center usually much closer than rest of the screen, it can even be perceived by brain as convex in the middle towards you.

    I just came across Origami! Figma leaves me wanting more when it comes to prototyping. I know that prototypes are supposed to be simple, and plain but why? I want genuine reactions when testing without having to code a full app. I'm definitely sold on Origami! Being able to use the phones features like the gyroscope, haptic feedback, etc. are huge. I will checkout your playlist!

    • @waynesang
      @waynesang 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's basically a 4k res, 32" screen, but with added width. So you don't lose crispness from a 4k screen of that size, just more space.

  • @zachward2215
    @zachward2215 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You definitely sold me. I especially love the part about you realizing that Figma could be holding back your design ingenuity in ways. I can definitely see that being the case. You cant design outside the box if the box has constraints on the interactions we have with our devices. Well made video! I’m excited to give it a try. I prototype everything I design in Figma. All interactions, animations, etc. I always feel limited though. It’s also clunky, buggy, and frustrating at times. I hope this brings a fresh take to my design process. Cheers!

    Does the watch charger actually come out so you can plug it into another port on say a MacBook?

    • @waynesang
      @waynesang 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It does not, as it's all integrated into a single charge cable. You could plug the whole thing into a MacBook though. I prefer this, as the separate watch cable was my biggest annoyance traveling.

    Hi, great video. Thank you. I am in the process of making a decision about a 43" to 49" Dell/LG specifically for productivity at home. I am in sales and typically work with 3-8 windows open at any time, all of varying sizes. Apps used are word, excel, sales force, browser, etc. Ideally, I'm looking to keep as many of those windows open in their separate space so that I don't have to toggle between them. Because I can't really find any of these monitors "in-the-wild" to look at them, I was wondering your thoughts on whether a 43/45" like the Dell 16:9 vs LG 21:9 vs Dell 49" 32:9 .

  • @ranrise
    @ranrise 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Did you try a 32 4k? Issue is, this monitor is such a terrible value at current Amazon price of $1350. In comparison, a decent 4k 32inch with 90w type-C can be found for half that price. And if you are going above $1k, new QD-OLED 4K 240hz monitor again with 90w type-C and hdmi 2.1 can be found for $1199, and it's the newest best monitor tech out there, compared to this LG only 72hz IPS with inaccurate colors in comparison to the OLED (it's good color for an IPS display I'm sure). Also, reviews indicate this thing takes 7-8 seconds to wake, is this your experience? And if so does it not bother you? Like you are waking your laptop and it would take what seems like a year to just fire up.

  • @patrickduchene3181

    Bought this yesterday. I have owned many LG monitors and loved them all. This is a great monitor but unacceptable that such an expensive monitor only has 300nits of brightness. Text is nice and clear and the 72hz is not much higher than the standard 60 but was amazed that it did feel noticeably smoother.
