  • I drill my old Squire combination padlock apart, after setting an unknown combination by mistake. I did try the method of finding the combination given in this youtube video • Opening a Squire CP1 C... but it didn't work for me, possibly because my padlock was so old and rusty.

Good to see a new upload, I would never of guessed that your next video, would be that of a lock breaker 😂
    But I totally get it…
“Curiosity keeps the sane awake at night” I do exactly the same.

Hi Samuel, nice to see you uploading again, unless I'm mistaken, those are called spotting drills, I find them far better to use than a centre drill, being less fragile, less likely to break the tips.

Thanks. I agree everyone uses centre drills (which are really designed to put a centre in a spindle) for the task of starting a hole in the right place, which is the job of a spotting drill. However, just googling spotting drills comes up with photos of drills with short spiral flutes. The odd thing about the drill I used was that it has completely straight flutes. I can't find any like that for sale, so remain doubtful as to what they are (bought in massive auction job lot of end mills, drillsa, reamers, etc).

What’s happening with your Harrison? I would love to see that in action a bit more
