You really need a 40 series preferably a 780 series torque converter on those 459cc engines. The 30 series will work but the mounting plate can eventually snap from the force of the engine. Good chance its gonna eat up that belt.
The front driver and rear pully is from a 40 series torque converter. However that backing plate is from a 30 series. I never really intended it to be a permanent solution but it has worked out fine so far. If it ever breaks that backing plate I'll get a proper 40 series one.

I put a 40 series on my 459cc to save money at first and We just ride ours way too hard. I replaced 3 belts before upgrading to the 780 series.

Man, I got the same cart with a built 212 , this makes me wonder what my 390 will do
In my opinion I think we actually gave this kart to much power 😂
How fast is it?
We haven't really done a proper speed run but it'll definitely do around 50mph at least
