I love 🚂steam locomotives I love steam locomotives I love steam locomotives 🚞 I am a rail fan I have a steam locomotive picture on my wall of my bedroom and Rail Road crossing sign on my wall.
You're welcome! Soon we'll be selling a 2016 calendar with pictures from the Cog Railway. Check back here or sign up for our mailing list at www.lightchannelphotography.com. Thank you for watching!
Yes you can still go by Steam - 1000 gallons of water and 1 ton of short ton of coal per trip so the number of trips is limited. The diesel is more environmentally friendly - afdc.energy.gov/case/1763?text
Too bad they never discovered over-fire air jets, for secondary combustion. Could have greatly reduced the amount of pollutant spewage. Not that big a deal to get bituminous coal to burn cleanly. (Won't help with sulfur or heavy metals, sadly; can't have it all.)
Great video I just started watching the cog webcam 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
I've loved these locomotives since I was young. Learning more about this railroad and the mechanics of it is fascinating. Thank you for posting.
Any time!
Great video - brought back many memories of my Trip to the White Mountains

Interesting... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Washington_Cog_Railway. Not too sure air jets existed back then :)
