I did everything but when I click on the recent button. And I click the icon of the app it won't show freeform option. I also restarted my phone but won't show free form option.

Yes you can, as thats the only way. This free form is not like, youtube mini window which can be used on any app overlay
Even after i manually allowed overlay and display over other apps for my discord,i still cant open it in a very short window over my chrome app in android.
My purpose was to keep an eye on something in discord while reading what i want on my browser.
Problem is i am on phone. And, multi screen function in my phone, or even 3rd parties, are all simply dividing the screen equally
There is no way for me to re size them. As i want one screen covering almost 80% of screen while other one only around 20%
So what i did, i opened 2 free form windows and adjusted them accordingly, which solved the problem for me, much better than what i imagined.

Why can't I find the "force windows freeform" option, how am I gonna do this then

@@UniqueTutorials As I said my phone doesn't have freeform windows option can't find it anywhere in the developer options, but it does have force activity to be resizable option, maybe it's because of the version of my phone, it's android 8.1.0. Do you think it's still possible?
I can't say with sure since Android 8 is very old Android OS and I don't have Android 8 OS running smartphone to test.

just tried this on a A8 tablet it has done nothing, the option wont show & I have one app I open its too big the app opens & shows the size & cuts 1/2 the page off & if I use split screen its even worse

yes it does float and you can resize but you can't open multiple apps so it's useless because our purpose to do that is because we need to open multiple apps on screen

i got it to free form but once i open an app or anything it disappears. the reason I'm trying to do this is to freeform a camera app to keep an eye on my pet while i watch TH-cam or do whatever. can't even open Google or Chrome without it disappearing
