very different. Its customised with latest AESA radars and Israeli electronics and EW systems + a different suite of weapons. Its more advanced than USAF's F-15E.
They are trained in various places - the RSAF being quite mature has all qualified instructors to do everything… but they do get sent to the US, Canada, France for training exposure. Major Nah in the video for example was trained in the US. RSAF has permanent detachments in France, Australia and the US.

On contrary, Design philosophy for f15, was : Not a Pound, for Ground. Which basically meant its specially designed..... to KiLL aeRial targets(Air to air). Although it pleasantly turned out remarkably decent in ATGround performance. Well depending whose side you're on. There you have one making adjustments(sacrifices) to cater for requirements, which the other hasn't, and can simply optimise for. While f18s are decent, F-15 is a whole lot deadlier, especially weight thrust ratio(hence speed/agility), operational range(how far/long). And alot more you can find online :)
Utter rubbish. There has been at least two. A Captain Abu Bakar flew the F-16 and Major Iskandar flies the F-15SG. Also there was COL Zakir Hamid who flew KC-135R and became head of transport group..
