love the format of you videos, to show the progress all in one, not that i wouldn't like more videos but i would forget that there is a follow up in the future :)
You are a lucky guy. Everything you are doing at your Bonsai is working well. Almost! Thanks for the video. 2 weeks ago a thunderstorm threw all my big bonsais down. 7 of 10 bowls broken, 4 trees with broken tops. But I still will go on! Regards from the south of Germany
A really enjoyable video to watch Jelle. I have found that if my plastic humidy container is half full of water then it acts in the same way and everything inside roots brilliantly :)
Nice video as always, Jelle. One of the siblings of your BRTs from seed is now in the ground. I can assure you it has already fattened quite a bit, and I guess it will be a fast process for a nice thick bonsai. Good luck with yours!😊
Great video Mr jelle! I still got the cutting you Sendt me last year. Brazilian raintree. Have it out in the greenhouse still. When do you recommend I take inside. The cooler weather is coming to Norway this weak. But it stil 10 degrees at night and about 30 to 40 celcius in the greenhouse if the sun shines
@GrowingBonsai i took them in a month ago. We hit minus 6 Celsius. They really took off when I took them inside! I have 3 cuttings on the go from it. Thanks again jelle!
Hoi Jelle! Any chance there will be tombola this year for the saplings/cutoffs? I would be very interested!! I would also be interested in buying one from you. Let me know! Cheers.
Thanks for the video, very to helpful. I live in there UK and have not been able to find any place that sells seeds or cuttings of Brazilian rain tree. Can I please buy some cuttings from you?
Styled it beautifully. Blessed to have access to these great videos . 👍
Thank you kindly!

Glad you like them! It is indeed what I often miss in videos and try to avoid a bit in mine!

Ohw, that is annoying! But realize, things go wrong everywhere all the time too. The longer you are at it, the better yu get at avoiding big problems.
Gute Entwicklung, ein schöner Bonsai
Danke mein Freund!
Nice Tree 🙋♂️
Thank you! Cheers!

Great tip!
That is a beautiful tree!
Thank you so much!
Brilliant vid! Really enjoyed learning about the quirks of Brazilian Rain Trees. Beautiful bonsai well on its way to success!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice transformation. Useful tips as always!
Thank you so much!

Thanks for the info! I wish I could grow them in the ground!
Beautiful trees. But tell me why do you keep them in bonsai pots while they are in development stage?
They are in large pots. And they spent 6 months per year in the living room so it might as well look nice.

I will bring them in this weekend. When the greenhouse drops regularly below 10?

I very much doubt there will be. Where are you located?

I am afraid that shipping plants to the UK requires all sorts of permits which I cannot provide / have
Did not think of that. Thanks for considering.
when you put branch in zip lock do you keep the bag closed and should I keep it inside on the window? I am eastern time NY
What do you mean, put a branch in a ziplock bag?
How old are these trees from seed? Great video.
I am not comepltely sure, but I think winter 2018/2019 when I planted the seeds, which would make them 4 years
Thanks.
Delema solved 🤣 unbelievable this difference in an at first seemingly uninteresting tree 🤓 I would enjoy to visit your garden
So nice of you :D
can you please do a short video on how to grow a raintree in a zip lock bag?
I am not sure what you mean?
👍👌🙂
Thx!
Was gonne guess you fed that juicy offcut to your bunnies but apparently Brazilian Raintree is toxic... Thanks for another interesting video.
:)
I’d like to buy one of your Brazilian rain trees please Jelle
How would I go about that my friend?
It is a bit tricky to get them to the UK. I am not able to organize the paperwork for it.
Très intéressant, merci pour la vidéo!
You are very welcome!
Both of the Brazilian rain trees I had eventually lost their leaves and died. :( I miss them dearly.
Ooohw.. :(
Looks like a mimosa in US.
mimosa looks similar, but is quite a distant species. Both belong to the fabacea plant family.
