"Blood for Blood" is the first film in my "SAURIA" Animated Series.
This film explores the ongoing war between the imperialistic BlueSong Empire and the more barbaric Kindred of the Tusk clan. The film follows a captive Tusk Kindred war chieftain named Taurox.
Taurox is one of the greatest and most feared fighters in all of SAURIA, but the BlueSong are a very prideful and honourable people. Instead of executing him on the spot or leaving him to rot in a cell, they have decided that his execution must be a public event. He must die in arena combat. Fair arena combat. When he inevitably falls this will prove BlueSong superiority over the greatest fighter that opposes them.
How long will SAURIA's greatest fighter last against the might of the BlueSong Empire?

"Blood for Blood" is the first of 3 SAURIA films I have planned. I've been working on this series for over a year now. It has been a tremendous amount of work, and I am very happy with how Episode 1 turned out! I wanted to create something unabashadly awesome and I think I achieved that! ^_^

I love how the more gentle looking dinosaurs are the invading empire and the brutal and more sinister ones are the resistance just trying to protect their land.

  • @ROTPARTY

the realization at the end that, even though the chief is imprisoned, its to rid of their strongest soldiers so they can eventually fall.. thats SICK. It's also to avenge his companion that fell into battle? that's also cool as fuck. the world building is so cool so far, and i'm excited to see more.

    >opens door to highly protected compound

  • @LxR7601

The fact that the dinosaur man isn't really trapped and can escape anytime he wants yet chooses not to so he can prove a point, he has earned my respect. Ultra Chad dino man.

  • @GarryDKing

The chief's the embodiment of "I'm not trapped in here with you, YOU'RE trapped in here with ME"

  • @abelaguilar-acosta8691

“The greatest of their ranks, they offer themselves to me, like sacrifices”

  • @diegofoliene3288

The way Taurox easily rips the door from his cell showing that he could easily escape.

  • @lolglolblol

I quite like how this film begins with the statement that no one know how they managed to catch him and ends showing that they never did

  • @luseylottay

I know we're all talking about how brilliantly tactical the chieftan's willingness to stay "imprisoned" is in order to whittle down the enemy's finest and best fighters...

The best part of Taurox’s speech was when he ripped the cell door open with his bare hands. If he wanted to escape, he would’ve done so already. And by staying, he kills the best warriors of his enemies and destroys them from within.

I like how the two different dinosauroids don't just look like hybrids of dinos and people. One is clearly evolved from Troodontids, and the other looks like Ceratosaurus.

All I can say is that, we need more paleo x fantasy in media these days, Dinotopia is the only one I can think of a paleo-fantasy story and after seeing the first episode I immediately feel in love with every it had to offer and I’m getting HEAVY Primal vibes from this. I do can’t wait to see the other episodes because the world building that is set up, the characters, and the animation especially are really intriguing!

  • @torvovenator

We need more prehistoric fantasy stuff like this!

  • @titanosaurdy9493

The ending just shows how much blind and foolish the birds really are, having a thought that they could rid the chieftain once and for all without realizing why he surrendered in the first place

  • @moonwatcher4047

    Absolutely awesome!

  • @excalibur493

"This is not your prison. This... this is your vengeance!" Such a powerful line.

  • @cretaceouscrusader661

I love the attention to detail. The subtle movements of the nostrils, the slack jaw of the dead carnotaur. All the creature designs look stunning.

  • @waseemchoudhry4465

I like how they add more personality to Taurox. At first, he appears to be your standard strong chief archetype. But we see that he has both emotion (his bond with his beast) and intelligence (him killing the BlueSong’s strongest warriors).

  • @IdiotinGlans

I like the inversion of the typical heroic fantasy "slave-gladiator-rebel-leader-king", by having chieftan choosing to become an enslaved gladiator for his own twisted vengeance.
