- Garret Ace 150 Vs. The Bounty Hunter Tracker Four; love both these machines, but this is the first time I'm made a coin garden/test pit. I'd planned to make a longer video but things got really bugging, and my Camera Kid went on Strike!

My friend was using Garrett AT pro but getting a lot of chatter I call it ! So I behind him with my Discovery 3300 I found 9 confederate cannon balls grape shot. I stick with Bounty Hunter, Fisher’s and Teknetics
They are both outstanding companies for multiple reasons!
Frequency ! Now I know high frequencies not good with smart phone,smart watch and electric lines and underground lines .I tried using Teknetics t2 se in my front yard. I won a Bounty Hunter LS pro from American Detention when I get it might start using pros
I have the older lone star bounty hunter it's ok ; but if you wanting to detect fine gold flake ore it's really not good for that; old saying u pay for quality
Nice job comparing the detectors! I just picked up another tracker 4 its not as good as my old one its made cheaper an on full sensitivity inch an a half less depth!

Cool comparison. I notice the bounty hunter is better when you swing it faster, and is better at hunting through iron than Garret, but Garret is better when swinging slower and controlled. Garret Ace 200 is my favorite of the smaller machines from the Garret series.
They are both awesome machines, it feels weird using the Bounty Hunter after so long of not using it!
Mainely Digger Yeah. They are such different machines. My bounty hunter settings are always:
90%-full sensitivity for full depth
Disc nob 30-40% turned
On tone so you can hear the different sounds.
I don’t have the same Garret machine you do but I do think they are all similar in setting options.
75 percent sensitivity (or 80 depending on what you have)
On discriminate jewelry level so discriminate everything except Iron.
Those are the setting I recommend.

They are both great affordable machines!!
ANYBODY WONDERING: I bought the BH Land Ranger Pro after hunting with the TK4 for about two years. I’ve used the LRP for a year clocking in about two hours a day and sunup to sundown on most weekends. It’s a solid unit. However, the TK4 dominates trashy ground and old homesites. Probably the smaller coil and probably because you spend less time looking at a screen and more time paying attention to where you swing.
They are both made by Texas instruments. Just consider the bounty Hunter their low priced brand name. Price points for everyone. They are both very good for the money. I hunt with my bounty hunter and a friend has a Garret and low and behold they are very competitive to each other. The ground that is hunted over is the deciding factor.

You cant beat this machine for 98 dollars. It may not have all the features but if you are in the right place at the right time You can find goodies

Got the tracker 4 a week ago something for me and my daughter to do for fun outside. Ill be damned if it didnt get freezing and rainy outside the day after we got it. Cant wait to start though
