Just ordered a Tracker IV from Amazon to find my 30 year old Dog Tag that fell from my necklace chain but after this Video I’m pretty stoked to go out to the Woods and playgrounds etc… I stay bored quite often and I think this will get my Old broken Ass outside thank you for the Video, Semper Fidelis
@@thriftingncollecting truly thank you for the reply, it’s only left my neck twice in 3 decades lol I hope I find it also thank you. I’m stoked to start detecting it looks so entertaining and fun.
I would for sure. 1. You do not have to ground it. 2. It picks up many things without having to dial in the sensitivity. 3. It just takes Alkaline batteries. 4. Tones are pretty simple. 5. Not very heavy or hard to swing.
It’s good if you’re in that $100 bracket. I wouldn’t like to use it in the woods much though, being so limited in depth and considering the layers of foliage that build up year after year. I think if you’re into saving and collecting, and if you can invest a little more, buy a used Nokta Makro Simplex for $175-$200. It’s as deep and capable as they come, even waterproof, and you’ll never outgrow it.
I decided on a Vanquish 340 open box deal at the moment instead of the Simplex. But in the future I want to detect underwater in old swimming holes on creeks and will get it then.
Yeah any detector will find stuff, it's just about what kind of stuff you want to find. Nicer detectors with better coils tend to let you know what you are digging and get a deeper range which is nice.
I believe it does. You can notch out different metals with the disc/notch dial. Aluminum especially picks up easily. It's more how big and how deep the target is that determines if it gets picked up.
No, but I don't get the option to infect them with lyme disease either, so it's all square. This is really your primary focus on a metal detecting video?
You can definitely find good stuff with the entry level unit! Sometimes I wonder if I am not getting deep enough or good signals to find the "really desirable finds", but I tend to think it has more to do with the age and quality of site you pick and how meticulous you are with covering the site rather than equipment.

Thank you for your service! I hope you are able to find that dog tag and many other treasures!

Good Hunt😃👍
Semper fi, brother! My TK4 is due to be delivered tomorrow. Had any good finds?
Definite on the bug spray, I have some cheap Harbor Freight knee pads. Good tips. Happy Hunting my friend!
Thanks! Many people hunt old farm houses which is great. But there is stuff to be found in the woods.
That corroded round item at the 4:40 mark is RUBAR : Rusted Up Beyond All Recognition
Haha, I love it!
Would you recommend the tracker 4 for a begginer with zero experience?
Like you comment yes I would recommend a tracker 4 with zero experience I got won had for 3 months love it easy to use Christopher from Australia 😃👌

I've had this detector for 2 years. It has paid for itself in many ways.
You found a Easter egg, I can't wait to use mines
Money is always good to find.
Cool video
Needs to speak louder . Have volume on my phone at high can barely hear him. Otherwise great finds
you need a new shovel man lol
Yeah I'll be upgrading this summer for sure!

Thanks! Yeah I'm definitely looking to upgrade at some point. That might be a good next move. When I do, I'll try to make a new video for sure.

That rusty metal thing could be a baggage seal
That’s DB Cooper’s dollar 😂
I love you. Keep up the good work
I have the Pioneer 202, this one, and a Vanquish 340. These are fun detectors for old relics, finding scrap metal, and coins. Tough too.

Hiya! I’m looking for an alternative to that harsh bug spray; Got any suggestions?
They do have bug repellant bands you can wear on your wrist.
Does the display on the bounty Hunter tracker light up at night time so you can see the needle in the dark
Unfortunately, it does not on my model which is the Bounty Hunter Tracker IV.
@@thriftingncollecting thank you!!!
The one you didn't know appears to me be tip of flash suppressor .litterly broke off
Thanks! If so it must be an old one?
very underrated channel! I'm looking forward to getting the bounty hunter metal detector! Thanks
nice finds but really bad audio
Yeah I've gotten better about adjusting the volume in my later videos.
Ketchup will clean your pennies
Thanks! For my metal detecting finds I tend to use just soapy water unless it's really roached.
Cool vid
how much depth this detector sees

Usually about 4-6 inches. Deeper if it's a really big object. Depends on what you are sifting through - ex. Sand vs rocks
Choke tube below the treestand.
Ah ok! Any idea of how old?
Was it threaded on one end? I'm just guessing tho. Good vid.
Does it work for all metals and gold
I believe it does. You can notch out different metals with the disc/notch dial. Aluminum especially picks up easily. It's more how big and how deep the target is that determines if it gets picked up.
Ok
Thanks!
No problem!

Nice finds! and very helpful tips like water, knee pads. I like this Bounty Hunter Tracker IV more than my previews Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX for sure.
Bro... a plastic easter egg with coins that have mud n shit all over? You lost a viewer.
do bugs or animals get the option of human spray(well then leave them bee)we are all 1 ,at least go natural bug spray!!!!
No, but I don't get the option to infect them with lyme disease either, so it's all square.

Great tips, I started out with a Bounty Hunter, pioneere 202. Still have it for a back up . Awesome finds, thanks for sharing.
