David Lucas was born in Macon, GA. He started acting an early age, performing in numerous stage plays at the Macon Little Theatre. He relocated to Hollywood where he was a contestant on, “MTV Yo Momma”. He has since written for several television shows and continues to perform stand up all over the country (for such comedians as Louis CK, Erik Griffin, Joe Rogan, Brendan Schaub, Tony Hinchcliffe, Bert Kreisher, DL Hughley and many more) He is a regular on Kill Tony. Ron White will forever be one of my favorite comedians. My grandpa and I would listen to him and laugh for hours.
My grandpa loved The Blue Collar Comedy Tour. He even had the You Might Be a Redneck peel off calender. He sounded like Ron, just with a Missouri accent. I miss him. RIP.

How do you not love Ron?
I stopped everything to watch this. Easily one of my favorite podcast episodes ever. Just the right amount of time, no forced conversation, and the quality is great. Made me feel like a fly on the wall just listening to a good convo while dudes are fishing. Here before the blow up.
Love seeing how multi-faceted you are, David. Young King when it comes to roasting and being a comedic wise-ass when the shows going, but giving the utmost respect and showing maturity when you are given the time of those you look up to. That's that good shit. Thankful for the opportunity to watch a prodigy rise to stardom.
You couldn't be less interested in your rod this episode. Got your head on straight as a bird. You sir, have your priorities in order.

One of the best to ever do it sitting with one of the best moving comedy into the future is such a treat. Ron and David sitting together and talking about the past and present state of comedy as two friends is just the best damn thing on the internet. Comedians are just a different breed. I could have watched this for hours. Two buddies talking about the thing they are most passionate about and discussing their joy at where things are headed with the Austin scene is just remarkable. All the best Ron and David, you guys kick ass and this show is f'ing brilliant. Cheers and thanks for this!

I did security for Ron in joliet IL probably 15 years ago, one of the nicest guys around.
I always felt the need of someone to fill the presence of Patrice in comedy and while no one can ever be Patrice, David reminds me of him.
Patrice would grab your attention and fight like crazy to never lose it.
I am so happy for you David, I’ve watched your entire progression. I wish you to have a talk with your brother in cursive about how to do it right, his podcast is okay but he doesn’t take himself serious as a comedy “brand”.

Trials and tribulations, behind the scenes of the comedy world. Just real open talks with other people or just you two. This was amazing.

Ron White is only comedian I’ve ever saw live and it was absolutely hilarious. It was in Vegas and I had 7 Jegar shots and had a huge beer in my hand waiting in line and I was like shit to much Jegar to fast gave my beer to my dad went puked came back kept drinking beer. Got in the show and was having great time and guy in front of my dad turns around to my dad stands up says you kick my fucking chair one more time…my dads foot barley slid across back of his chair couple times when he was crossing and uncrossing his leg. Well I wouldn’t put up with that sober and having a little buzz I stood up and said and do what motherfucker get knocked the fuck out! He didn’t kick your chair sit down stfu. Here’s the funny part right when I stood up said that was right after everyone stopped laughing from last punch line in that silent moment.. Ron didn’t verbally acknowledge it but I saw him look up our direction smiled and kept going cause the guy was sitting down like a bitch. So I sat down as well enjoyed laughing hardest I ever have in my life.
