There are claims and there are claims backed by research and evidence which can be peer reviewed. There are literally over 8 billion of us, pushing the threshold of what the planet can even support. By all rights we should all be completely disposable. The sooner ppl grow up and face the harsh reality that we have a surplus of about 7 billion, too many ppl that urgently needs to be dealt with in order to bring global populations back to a sustainable level.

Confidence in the scientific method. Thousands of scientists based on observations, data and experimentation applying the scientific method coming to the same conclusion. No need to just say, "well I haven't seen it".
