      is the xiaomi camera app have the 10 sec countdown timer? it was available 2 years ago but since some update the 10 sec timer disappear on all MIUI device. (back then I use the redmi note 3, now I'm using K20 pro still have both and both doesn't have 10 sec timer but 2 years ago the redmi note 3 have the 10 sec timer)

      I thin MI10 video is stable than P30 when you step down the stairs. And the color of the cat is better.
      30fps video is brightness than 60fps but can you test 60fps video when night on both of them MI10&P30? It can see clearly and can use or not?
      And thank you sir for this video.

    So this is quite subjective do you agree with my choice on the winner? At times it was so hard with the photos I had to call it a draw. Rear video the Mi 10 dominated and low light. But that front cam white balance in selfie video was really off in the beginning (Blue tint) and then no EIS on the front camera...

    • @voncupher6336
      @voncupher6336 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For me, mi 10 wins in rear video stabilization and low light front camera video quality also steal some picture quality in low light but most of the time p30 pro wins in low light photos and daylight photos. Also p30 pro has better dynamic range especially in the shadows which has better details amd sharper and p30 also is more natural and has true to life color.

      Xiaomi had a leap in its image and video processing algorithm by "Mi note 10 pro" project, I think we will see better and better camera coming from Xiaomi. Rear stabilization is on par with the bests of the industry and front facing camera needs some software tweaks, which might come with future updates!

    I think Mi 10 takes better images in good light scenarios. Huawei just oversharpens and overcontrasts everything which looks good if you just want to post them to facebook but overall I think it's lower the quality and also you can't really edit them that much later. Mi 10's images are better base for some Snapseed magic. Also because of that Huawei's images looking a bit unnatural when you zoom in. At night this thing oversharpening comes handy, but sometimes Mi 10 works better in those conditions too, when there's enough light.

    Interesting results indeed, I didn't expect to see the P30 Pro winning that easily. I thought they would trade blows more evenly.
    The Mi 10 has:
    1. newer and better EIS for those who do parkour.
    2. a better selfie camera in low light.
    3. a tiny bit more detail when making heavy crops from the main camera (I expected a bigger difference between 10MP & 27MP).
    For everything else I prefer the P30 Pro. If we talk about colors there's a huge difference in quality, the Mi 10 ups certain hues to radioactive levels. Dynamic range was never the P30s strength, but somehow it won in that department too while it's normally the forte of Samsung sensors. Edit: Forgot to mention the ultra wide comparison, the Mi 10 has nicer colors but the P30 Pro provides signitficantly better dynamic range. I feel like Huawei could improve the ultra wide by just reducing the saturation of blues and the sharpening, the images are already very crisp.
    Up against the Mi 10 Pro I expect the P30 Pro to win in zoom quality, Xiaomi applies too much sharpening. We'll see how the ultra wides compare since the Mi 10 Pro has a different sensor. Personally I find the ultra wide very hit or miss on my P30 Pro, but others seem to get great results. The ToF camera on the P30 Pro is another great advantage, lets me scan real objects and print them with my 3D printer.

    For camera, I would pick p30pro without a second of doubt...but, I must admit that Xiaomi did a great job here.
    Mi10 can go in line and be compared to the best,and that is a great deal for a Xiaomi.
    However, so long the use MIUI, and so long best help (and ost flame thrown at you) can you get on some forum instead of real user support, I would not see Xiaomi as worthy of my money.

      No EIS on the front Xiaomi cameras Yet

  • @ashouhdy
    @ashouhdy 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    as always great video !
    the lack of swapping cameras during recording is a shame, absolutely loses video concept totally. specially if you zoom you crop not using the triple cameras as of huawei., also still no eis on front camera so all 1 hand held photos are blurred 👎🏽
    Huawei has noise cancelation mic audio concentrate on voice and eliminate sea waves noise in the video.
    about stabilization on 4k Huawei uses only the OiS and not Ois+eis as in 1080p mode.
    wide angle coverage is wider on huawei , the ability to use all cameras during recording as s10+ and p30pro is a great win.
    i can hardly believe that xiaomi released the mi10 with those big issues and fixing only audio bitrate.
    i am an old mi9 owner and P30pro user who was looking forward to the mi10pro but no till they add eis+ using all cameras in video.

    Xiaomi's stabilization is great, however the image processing in video is not as good as the P30. The Xiaomi adjusts the automatic camera settings far too much in video. A lot of the Xiaomi photos look pretty good.

    *Better low light
    *Texture retention,details are great
    *Seems like Ultra wide angle is also better with better colours
    *RAW images from all sensors
    *Larger pixel size(2uM) super pixel

    Has Snapdragon chipset there will definitely be a Gcam support for it

      Main wide yes. Ita very good on the ultra due to some crazy good OIS and low light performance for video compared to what I've tested including the IPhone 12 Pro Max. But not the ultra wide it has focus issues in video and you need to lock the focus and exposure.

    Idk if you'd read this but every Xiaomi Flagship I've bought has been excellent in all aspects except the cameras. The camera processing is one thing that Xiaomi have not got right since their first phone. It's disappointing. I have the Mi Mix 2s and the cameras are terrible with the oversharpening. I bought a Mid range Redmi Note 8 Pro as well and the 64MP camera was garbage because of the terrible oversharpening. Plus it can't maintain highlights that well.
