Good question, It was built a while back, I remember it gave me so many headaches as it was so difficult to build and test with real potato. For this reason I did not put any instructions. I occasionally post pictures of my builds on the Facebook page.

Good question, it actually took me 3 weeks to build it, most time I spend fine tuning moving parts so the action are synchronized. e.g load, move, drop etc. and at the end had to wait for the good sunny day as it was raining for almost a week. Thank you for asking.

I have tried it first, the complexity of the attachment and flexibility of the connection to the tractor did not let me do this. Some parts a re not strong enough to transfer the rotation, I had to put the motor in between so left and right parts had more or less equal power. Thank you very much for watching .

To be honest, I do not know, it is definitely over complicated. I have tried to build a simple one at the beginning and it did not work. When there are too many potatoes in the bucket they lock each other and Lego can not pull a single potato out of the bucket. Step by step my imagination brought me to what you see now. Hello, there are 4 electrical motors and all controlled by the Lego Remote. Ideas are coming sometimes from visiting toy or hobby stores. This one came after I saw a real potato planter. With a bit of fantasy and dreaming for quit some time the planter was created. It was so much fun to make it work with small potatoes. At one moment I almost gave up as I could not synchronize the movements of all parts. Thank a lot for asking and watching.
