- A new unboxing and review video for you guys today! This time for Hobium Yarns and their La Mia range! I was super lucky enough to try them out and share them with you guys so hopefully we can design and crochet some new crochet patterns together! What ideas do you have for these yarns? What would you use them for? Let me know in the comments below and I will get designing.

Hei hei Laura (and followers who read this) in response to your request for project ideas, may I suggest crocheting various size and shapes of baskets, and even boxes, if crocheting a box is possible. Might be fiddley to create a box with openings one could slip cardboard or a harder material into, like a pocket. I very much wish to make lovely round baskets, my largest hook is a 7 mm.
Additionally, I am mad about making fingerless gloves, but they always leave me cold, my fingers that is! Would like to follow a pattern for half-fingered gloves and, to be honest, your tutorials work better for me than others.
I can't follow written patterns, I have dyscalculia, a form of dyslexia, so symbols and numbers and sequences are, essentially, the bane of my exsistence-not to mention time! Your videos provide instruction in a way that I can follow, without becoming confused or frustrated. Now I have shared too much and written too much and feel quite silly! However, if my confession of an imperfectly formed brain is useful to encourage others to try crochet or knitting (which does NOT fall within my brain's comprehension capacity), then I am happy to look silly and feel awkward! Lol!
These yarns, in this video, are stunning! (Especially the lime green!) Brilliant assortementet and SO many yarns! Love all unboxing videos, its a bit like watching someone open a very special gift. 😁

P.S. To Laura: I feel the grammatical errors, and the spelling is a result of the dyscalculia-I could easily spend hours correcting both, but I wont. Won't. Shan't. Huff, too easy to fall prey to being a perfectionist with writing! 😁

How about more flower appliques. I think those cute little skeins would make wonderful flowers. BTW, I love your tutorials.
You should make a bunch of 3d flowers & put them on a square like thing & make a beautiful 3d crochet garden!!

Hobium certainly seems to have a nice range of yarns, and one can even get free international shipping if one's buying in bulk! (Min. I think the mini's would be great for msking granny squares, i would make a granny square dress mini dress. Thank you for the unboxing. I Just discovered Hobium and I love them! I love the la mia silky, I'm making a bathing suit out of it now. Omg such nice yarn !! Have to try the mini cottony!
I bought a couple of sets of the La Mia cottons also. Some mercerized and some regular cotton. Yes, would be great for amigurumi or any striped pattern.

I'm jealous :-). All the colors I love! A colorful headband, perhaps keychains, only because of small amounts of each. Baby caps, beautiful child collars, mixed color ripple blanket. Imaginations rule here.
Hi, I just found this channel, and found out you can't order from their website but you can order from amazon from certain countries. What did you make with the baby yarn 100 gram balls?? I love that green but not on the Canadian Amazon...damn..
I have been looking for videos of a crocheted cat sweater, but there are no good ones. I love how you do such a great job of filming and explaining your patterns. Could you maybe do a sweater for a small cat/kitten?? Thanks so much again!!!!!

The Baby Cotton yarn has a 100% Cotton symbol on the front of the label while the actual make up is 50% Cotton and 50% Acrylic. Weird.
Would be great for flower granny squares! A blanket.

I just got a pom pom maker for my birthday. Can you please help me? Not sure what size I should use. The set came with 6. But still learning how to use it. I got yarn like this too. I hope mine is cotton. Can you make a pom pom out of it..? What the best scissors to use. Mine don't cut the yarn. Hopefully I am doing it right. Mine looks like a Clover brand but not sure. I would appreciate your help. Thanks for the videos
I wouldn't use cotton for a pom pom, acrylic is better or wool, then it'll be fluffier. Use embroidery scissors ✂️

I loved your idea of a baby jacket, and little matching booties would look so cute too. Also, the Amigurmi would be great! Little foxes and bears and so many others! I made a really big Amigurmi Giraffe for my Grandson and he really loves it!

I have looked at some of the other suggestions for what you could create with your wonderful new yarn. I love the idea of a mobile for a crib or for the living room for that matter. Little fruits sound fun too.

Maybe newborn size, you get a surprising amount actually, I'm currently using the acrylic minis to make a mandala.
