I had the pleasure of helping with the delivery of one of these boats from SF Bay to La Paz. We went non-stop just because we could. It was amazing. A couple of days we had 10+ foot waves and 20+ knots of wind and the boat just took off. Never felt out of control at all, even surfing down waves and pushing 15 knots. Wonderful boats. Have always been my dream boat. Too bad I can't afford it.
Don't call RaisedSalon a DeckSalon. Deck Salon is when u sit on the couch and u can see through the windows. U are almost at the same lvl as the people in cocpit. When u must to go down several steps then u are on a RaiseSalon boat or normal boat. Get the names right. Many manufacturers of boats use the terminology Deck Salon simply to get more people interested but RaisedSalon is not a DeckSalon.
Yeah, looks about $150K high, even accounting for the great condition. Lots of comparable boats in this size available for $200-250K USD in every part of the sailing world.
