  • We ran the Naches trail starting at the west side working our way back east, with it raining all weekend long the trail proved to be a little harder than i originally anticipated.
    The day was mainly spent sliding around in the mud, while trying to stay dry inside the jeep.

    I had the same jeep I put a 4 inch suspension lift kit with 33x12.50 mud tires what a difference it made off road!

      Thanks!
      I was going to try it again but faster, but theres a log in the middle that I kept hitting and it bent my tie rod slightly.

    Never been off-roading in Washington, would you say the trails out there are generally wet and muddy? Or is there a dry period?

      I live on the east side of Washington so most of the trails i go on are really dry and desert like. Unless im snow wheeling in the winter.
      I dont get alot of rain on this side, so carrying a bandanna in the jeep helps keep me fom breathing dust.
      The further west you go, the wetter it gets. And it all depends on what season it is.
      Naches pass goes over the cascades so its wet on one side and dry on the other. It was October when we went so it was muddy most of the trail.

      @@cegadventures2492 Cool, I'll look for it! Did the same thing myself (picked up a new camera - GoPro9) to make better milling and Jeep vids ;) Good Luck!

    Looks like a lot of fun!
    Can't wait to get out there myself. Looks like it was super wet that time of year so maybe in the summer when the snow melts!

      Yeah, it was a great trip.
      The mud was fun but made it alot more of a challenge. That was my first time running the trail, so I imagine its alot easier in the summer.

      @@cegadventures2492 thats awesome! I get around to everything on the west side. I'm starting to branch out a bit of my filming to new areas and Naches is on the top of the list!

    Do you think I bigger vehicle can make it? Say... a ram 1500 4x4?

    • @cegadventures2492
      @cegadventures2492  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, but it would probably result in a little bit of cosmetic damage. The trees are thick and close together at some points. Definitely doable tho.

    If you had more aggressive tires you would have made it no problem.

    Do you have lockers on your zj?

    • @cegadventures2492
      @cegadventures2492  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I'm not running lockers currently.
      I plan to put some E-lockers in eventually.
      In the video I had both front and rear open dif,
      A little after I got back I put a limited slip in the rear.
      The Limited slip does pretty good for not being an actual locker.

    Is that considered a "one way" trail?

    • @cegadventures2492
      @cegadventures2492  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, i have personally ran the trail going both ways. This trail is not one way only.
