I just did this Yesterday with my 2019 Toyota Tacoma Offroad. I bought this truck one week ago and was so stressed. My buddy lead the way with his Jeep Wrangler. I was worried about the length of the truck and some of the corners with logs and stumps that stick out and must be carefully maneuvered around. No damage to my truck though... Thank God, my wife would have killed me if I damaged my new truck. Great video. I recognized all the turns and bridges. We also stopped at the "Cabin" at Government Meadows and met a couple hikers who were getting ready to head out. They were on their way to the Washington Oregon border.
So..I just go a good 4x4 rig..finally.. I eventually want to try this trail out..as I am new to these trails.. are they one way up and then the same route back down and out? Just wondering on how getting back out when there may be some people going up.. :)
Normally, if you travel east on the trail you will come down and get onto Hwy 410 and Take that back west over Chinook Pass and back down the west side of the mountains into Greenwater and continue to Enumclaw. If you have the time, look up Whistlin' Jacks. It is a restaraunt/lodge. They have a good Monte Cristo sandwich on the lunch menu.
