Great video! I've been fasting until 3 everyday, and it sucks... what also sucks when I do eat, I eat over my calorie limit (1500 😫 from my fitness pal). I've gained 15 pounds since COVID and I want to get back down to 140. Any ideas what I should do? I also do a lot of weight lifting. Should I run more? I'm so lost lol! Any help is good help! 😅
If you are consistently lifting and running, 1500 calories is not enough and you will reach a point of burnout. I would seriously suggest taking some time to slowly up your calories towards what should be your maintenance and then bring them back down. I followed intermittent fasting for the first chunk of my weightloss and it's essentially just skipping breakfast, it sounds like you're skipping breakfast AND lunch. 😅 I just wouldn't recommend it for anyone as there is no factual proof that it helps you to burn fat. You can do it, it doesn't have to be complicated and full of rules. Take pictures/videos/measurements of yourself and keep track that way. Cardio will help you burn some calories but in my experience, high intensity cardio ie running will just make you hungrier. In conclusion, eat more throughout the day, stay consistent with your exercise and maybe sub in some LISS (low intensity steady state) cardio like incline walking. It's sounds like we're both in that "last 15 pounds" stretch (even though I don't like using the scale as a means of measurement) but this is the hardest part so the change will be slow. Hope this helps. You can do it. ♥️
