Motorola Rizr portrait scrolling screen mobile phone, 5-inch screen becomes 6.5 inches in seconds

Motorola chose a smaller form factor for its Rizer scrollable phone. In its unfolded state, the phone features a 5-inch 15:9 POLED display provided by BOE Display. The display surrounds the bottom of the Rizer, covering about a third of the rear, and by simply double-clicking the power button on the side, the motorized system will start working, scrolling the display up until most of the back panel reaches the front of the phone. This takes about three seconds and expands the display to a 22:9 6.5-inch size. The system interface has also been adjusted, the application is stretched vertically, while the icons are rearranged on the home screen, and Motorola is also making special wallpapers to automatically adapt to the distortion of the screen.
The main disadvantages of the RIZER are its thickness and weight. Despite its smaller height and width, it's still quite thick and weighs 210 grams, heavier than many flagships like the Pixel 7 Pro and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
