- We've had an invasion of moles in the garden! Unfortunately, last year I left them to it and the moles tunnels ruined parts of the lawn, making the ground so uneven that it was unsafe to walk/run on and could have caused an injury. With that in mind, this time I need to do something about it! Check out the video to see how and where to set a mole trap.
These traps are so effective I catch 2 moles for 3 hours my lawn is now so clean 😁
It would have been nice to find out if you were successful. I have put down quite a few of these traps; sometimes they work, but lately I haven't had much success. Apparently, one of the secrets is to ensure that the soil on the bottom and around the sides is firm. I'll keep trying.
I have never had one of these type of traps work. As the mole burrows through the tunnel the surplus soil is pushed into the trap setting it off. In 5 years of use we have never caught one. Wast of money!

V helpful ill get the traps and atrempt to catch one at least i now know why people get shot guns and blast them !!!! I love my garden and moles are a huge problem one i don't need...v good video thanx !!

I set several traps of this exact type. So far out of about 50 attempts 6 traps have activated with no Moles caught. A complete waste of time!

The run has been opened up too much.
Mole has room to go around the trap.
The moles were there long before the gardens , its humans who are the invasive species.
Pests, no hubby to set traps so i need to get them so not needed!!!!!
