Is there anything as edge cutting or centre cutting?
I have a recommendation next: paint a black base cube with the world darkest paint to made the darkest black base cube on earth, ( this idea comes out of my mind while thinking of an idea to make a Rubik's cube mods )

You should make force qiyi qimeng plus cubes. They are 9cm cubes that have an easy to take apart mechanism that is just bigger. It's nothing special but having force cubes of such size would be very cool to see. They also are not very expensive only being around 7-8 dollars USD I believe. Great vid z3, love to see it.

Very interesting mod, as always.
You could also have "super flipped" the corners, so that each color is opposite of its normal face. I imagine this would improve the symmetry of the end result.

It's awesome! You have so much skill too for being able to make it! For a next version, you could cut the corner piece into 6 separate parts and rearrange them so there's one colour per face but that would be a nightmare to make. Anyhoo, awesome work!

On this cube, you could do Superflip on the edges AND corners! (since each corner can face exactly away from its respective side on an inside-out cube) you may have to twist one of the corners though

Maybe you could cut each color of the corner pieces in half and glue them together on the opposite sides so you can get the colors correct?
Or you could maybe use a resin printer for smooth pieces?
The cube already looks great as it is in the video, but I think it would look even more amazing if the corners were colored correctly :)
this was my thoughts actually. the problem would be the amount of cuts and the fact that all of those surfaces that were cut and glued would be very visible
so much effort put into this video, hope it gets the recognition it deserves
I have a recommendation: you know how there are edge to core magnets on the gan 13 so I wonder if you could recreate that by just glueing magnets on an rs3m(with the core kit) edge piece to see if it'll work.
Another recommendation is to make THE MOST magnetized cube by filling it with magnets or by using very big magnets.

There is a way to make it so that the corner colors are in the correct places but you would need a few more cubes and there would be a lot more glued areas on show.

Here's an idea: A rubik's cube with velcro on all sides and gloves that attach to the velcro so you can cube while you are outside and it's cold!
So I think I would have had the edge pieces and corner pieces with the colour for a face being on the opposite side of the piece of that face. That would fit with the idea of turning the pieces inside out, and make the corners match up nicely with the sides. But definitely a cool project and love what you did with it!

Maybe you could have put two corner parts (the ones that make up the corner piece) of the same color together and cut of the excess. Then put three of these together (different colors ofc) and make a corner piece that matches the colors well with the rest of the cube.

I have an idea: do something like your "lightest plastic 3x3", but add glass and fill every piece with water (make sure to dye it) to make a water cube.
I’d like to see this with the corners modified properly I understand why you didn’t want to do all the extra work but I feel like the end result would be worth it if I had the tools I would totally do this myself

I like how at the beginning of the time lapse the pieces are all jostling to be the next to be scythed in half
You should try making a cube that has little arms for it to hold on to your fingers so they dont slide all around (doesnt make sense like this)
Lemme explain better: basically a regular rubik’s cube that has little pieces that can fit any fingers so they dont move all around the cube while solving, and you don’t do accidental turns that way

shouldn't it be possible to disassemble the corners and put them back together with an inverted color scheme? like, solid color cube corners can be disassembled into 3 parts, 1 per color
If you cut each 1/3 of the corners in half and glued them together wouldn't you be able to have them be the correct colors?
Give a 3x3 2 cores, and put another cube inside of it. (Any way you want, maybe a little 3x3 inside of it, or just a diagonal 3x3 interfering with the 3x3, etc., or you could put a 4x4 on the inside and so on.)
This has to be my favorite mod yet! The multicolored corners are actually so cool
do the superflip pattern on this pls ! im sure its the best pattern because for example on both side of the yellow-red edge there is the red side of a corner an the yellow side of the other corner so it will look dope i think
