I LOVE your chicken tunnels!! It is a great use of space to run the tunnels under trees and berry brambles where you can't use the soil anyway. PLUS SHADE & FRUIT for your hens!! My granddaughter and I were going to construct simple chicken tunnel like yours, except my 70 lb dog thinks our little hens are SUPPER. Our chickens are only safe behind a Fort Knox structure.
I can't find the video where you replied to my comment that you might get goats, so I'm replying here. If you get Lucy and Mattie a goat or two, I'D LOVE TO SEE VIDEOS ON YOUR GOAT RAISING VENTURE!! My granddaughter loves the chickens so much, she's thinking some Dwarf Nigerian goats would be a great next step. I'm not sure I'm that brave....
I’m looking into Nigerian Dwarfs too! Or Nubians, but we need to get a nice setup for them first. I would love to have a goat tractor where I just move them to a new spot each day. They can eat up all our poison ivy! I’m not sure if it will happen soon, but maybe in the fall.
I'm looking forward to seeing your goats in the fall, especially in a goat tractor!! if you can manage to add that much more to your crazy schedule. I didn't know goats would eat poison ivy@@onceuponatinyfarm
That is so cool. They are so happy , foraging and exploring, sunshine and shade. Perfect! Val C
Chicken tunnels are really cool they are happy chickens

Haha I guess you’d have to make a really strong structure to keep the dog out! It really is nice to see the chickens behind the garden though.
Looks great. ❤
Thanks!
I gotta try this with my guys and gals.
It’s so worth it just to see them out by the garden, but have comfort knowing they won’t be able to get out and destroy the garden lol
@@onceuponatinyfarm I'm more worried about the hawks and owls 🦉.
@@donnadoriand7324 in that case the tunnels will keep them safe from aerial predators
