Do you have any content for walleye on rocky rivers?
Here in the north east our rivers are very fast and pure rock, graphing is useless for marking fish but useful for finding submerged breaks.
Its super tough catching them here but anytime we do theyre always big

You were literally fishing some of my honey holes that’s awesome. No mistaken when I’ve spent countless hours on that pool. Fun to watch

Hi Mr. Boley, I'm Jim living in northeast Oregon. Now, this area has many different species with a few different waters. Mainly larger river systems. I've obviously noticed that you guy's have a lot of shallower areas. But, the Columbia river sets up differently. Way deeper areas with several humps and some spits topping out at various depths but heavily covered by hydrilla etc. So heavy it's not fishable. If you ever come over this way, get ahold of me, I would love to see how you would address this type of water. This system is fished heavy for walley and sturgeon, small mouth etc.. mostly deeper water because of the heavy grass. It will hand your hat to you

I'm in S.E. Washington. I've often wondered how Tom would fish here. Especially this time of year and through the winter. I usually fish deep knowing the ramifications (fish will be kept). I have no doubt there are shallow fish. Milfoil is super abundant in areas 18' and shallower. There are pockets, seams, etc. Lots of basalt rock too. Rocks make side imaging almost useless. There are a few "shallow water flats" but that's relative. I have no doubt Tom would figure it out in a fraction of the time it will take me. I'll keep trying some shallow areas but going deep puts fish in the boat so that's always where I end up.

I was at the big river yesterday and it was a blue bird day. The fishing was tough but I managed to few fish, all saugers. I’m surprised you guys weren’t catching a few of them.

The flow is so slow on the river right now is it changing the location of the fish when you get a heavy south wind.

You should stop putting your hands into the fish's gillplates because that will cause infections for them and will kill them later on.
