- The Texas Longhorns have a lot of talent and depth on their roster, making them a strong contender for the College Football Playoff. They have a solid quarterback in Quinn Ewers, who has shown leadership and improvement, but has the addition of Archie Manning created a QB controversy? We'll discuss today on Cube Show. The wide receiver group is versatile and has the potential for big plays. The running back position is led by CJ Baxter, who is a capable every-down back. The offensive line is one of the best in college football and has a chance to win the Joe Moore Award. Defensively, the Longhorns have added some talented players, but there are still concerns. If Quinn doesn't make a leap I can see them dropping 3/4 games. As a Texas fan I think the "dominant" year will probably happen year 1 with arch. This year I'm not sure. Offense had a bunch of cats last year and I felt the team was actually hindered my ewer's in
ability to hit deep balls. We'll see how much he improves this season
I don't like UGA at Texas either. They should've come to us or give us Bama at home.
