When I seen this on SNKRS i couldnt wrap my head around the hype. I was thinking to myself: Why would anyone want these? but after a few days this color grew on me. The colorway on this pair is sophisticated and unique without trying so hard
I have these already from a local retailer at retail price! And yes, there is no need to cut them up since the perforation is part of the Prototype-theme/design…and the blue is what makes it pop! Agree that they are better in hand. I can’t wait to go out and wear them soon.
These are my first pair of Jordan 1 Highs! I cannot wait for them to come in the mail. I'm into this colorway alot. It's unique and I like that.

These have really cool details and the concept is there, but I think they’re weighted down a little by just how often retro 1s release these days. Had the silhouette not been so tired now, I’d definitely be excited about these.

I love these kinds of shoes. They’re similar to the Biohacks in the way that they are different and have a mashup appearance. It’s crazy but effective!
Couldn’t agree more. I am not a crazy fan of AJ1, more into dunk(SB) but had to cop of Bihack, they are dope and people always break their neck whenever i am rocking them. i do love them, hands down one of my favorites in my connection.

Just because they aren’t hyped or have a collaboration with some celebrity or other clothing/ shoe company, are they junk or trash?.
In my honest opinion these are the shoes that should be hyped for their innovation or different color way or design that’s a little out of the way, a little unique, a little DIFFERENT.
In 5- 6 years time when they are old and you get bored of it as a highs, you can still reuse it as a low by just cutting it off.
You can’t tell these hypebeasts nothin. They have no style and rely strictly on hype for their style. No individuality or appreciation for anything other than hype. Shit makes me sick but it is what it is. That’s why I enjoy watching the real-ones like MFS and WearTesters because they’re like me - buy what you like and don’t care about anyone else.

I bought sizes 8.5 and 9 for 213 and 209 after taxes and fees... Basically sold retail. The prices are going up now I imagine people are beginning to like them after having a first-hand look after the early release... They are dropping today. In my opinion, this will be a 300-350 shoe by next summer.

I liked the concept on these & got a couple coming to remove the upper on a pair as designed. Was glad they weren’t over hyped up like many of the others. These should hit nice with a simple pair of jeans.

I have the peach Jordan 1 High Switch and that’s a much better design for chopping the top off and making them lows if you want. You can unzip them and the tongue and they also come with shorter laces so if you want to rock it low. I get so many compliments whenever I wear them and I wouldn’t ever cut the top off of these either because of the tongue.
I like what Nike is going with this as far as being able to make a high to a low!Hopefully many more colorways to come

But they remind me of the AJ1 Volt's....slightly unusual colorblocking, but they grow on you.
I have a feeling that in 3-4 years, these and the volts will be a hot commodity and people will regret wanting these. Similar to how the Barons were. When those came out back in what,...2017? people were meh because it wasnt a true OG cw....and now that is one of the more forgotten, "damn i wish" AJ1s in a long time.

These would have been SO SICK if the paneling on the back of the upper was BLACK (not Grey, and then two different shades of Blue) with that same White stitching (instead of that orange... Giving me Mets vibes in that area that throw it off completely). A Black (with white stitching)/Bone (Tan, whatever)/and White AJ1 would be fire... And shit, they could have even kept that orange swoosh below the laces and I would still love them tbh.

I've been looking at both White and Rose Gold Cuban Bracelets, but because I don't have a RG Watch in my collection (Yet... RG Patek 5980/5990 or a RG AP 15202 when I finish my Degree/(hopefully) hit 10 Years Clean from IV Heroin/Coke and everything else... ~4 few years out, but I'm going to be setting aside money like crazy to afford either of those lmao) I might just grab a high quality .925 Silver Cuban for the right wrist for now.
I could save a ton doing that and just toss that into the Patek/AP Fund, and be close to just as happy with the .925 Silver Cuban... And it would likely be a much better option than any of the gold plated stuff depending on how easily those end up scratching/plating starts to come off :shrug:
