This is an absolutely fire pair, and one thing that makes it even more attractive in my eyes is that this is one of the first a ma meniere releases that kind of flopped that's on an attractive silhouette and has an amazing color blocking. Times are definitely changing when it comes to what consumers desire and or what sneakerheads nowadays want, but for those who stuck it out with Nike and Jordan for the longest and saw an opportunity to get one of the pairs that they really wanted when they couldn't get the white ones when they first released I think this is a really very close alternative at a much more affordable price point.
These came out perfect. The aged midsole goes great with that muted purple/burgundy. It looks almost like the grey on a pair of black cement 3s was oxidized to this new color. Same thing with the elephant print being missing as if it got worn off
Just got my EQL W. I’m beyond pumped to get these. Cost me 246 all together from AMM through EQL (shipping, tax, and EQL fee included). I think they were 225 for retail.
I’m one of the few select people that think this pair is better than the OG White A MA Maniere Jordan 3 Collab. The color tone compliments the sneaker much better on this pair than the white pair. The sail midsole also looks better and vibrant if we are objectively speaking. You’re not a prisoner of the moment they do look much better than the White pair but again it’s opinionated with my own detailed reasons.
I agree with you. They look better than the white pair imo too. Sail looks better black than white. My only gripe is the $250 😬. That’s the only thing that makes me wanna pass. Also I find it funny that ppl prefer the white AMM over the black but black cements over white cements 😅.

These are great. After having them in hand, I have noticed that the burgundy is actually a plum-like color. Thus, when styling, look into purple type of tones as well. Overall, Amazing pair of kicks.

I am a big fan of most AMM's Jordan collabs and i like these AJ3s of theirs but im personally passing on them. I think the timing just a bit off for me , with the Black Cement 3s retroing again later this year and the Black Cat 3s coming in 2025 ; i just have my eyes on those black AJ3 colorways over these. For me i would have pushed the black AMM x AJ3s until later in 2025. I'd rather try and double up on the Black Cement 3s rather than going for these. The usual collab quality can be enticing (even though we certainly pay extra for it) as it usually another level to the GRs but in this case im likely passing.

I agree collab quality usually another level and seems to be with the next AMM x AJ3s but the black AMM x AJ3s not really feeling personally. I do not think they are anything special and just a number of good black AJ3s on the way i would prioritize over them. Especially with the heat on the way the rest of 2024 and more so in 2025 , i will be prioritizing a bit. For me its OGs , occasional special collab and for non-OGs has to be a super iconic / clean colorway.
Its like a “high fashion” black cement 3. Idk if i like these more than the white pair. But these are def better than the Fragments. I think the black is an easier wear.
I’m not one of those people that hates the pre-aged vintage midsole look, but it’s just so overdone, imo. Feel like we see it on every other release now. Looks good on these, but we need something different.
The cream here compliments the colors on the shoe nicely. On most shoes, especially those with bright colors, it’s unnecessary and sometimes ruin the shoe.
Yeah for sure I agree, with certain pairs like these as you stated it just goes well, definitely gives that premium feel more so then just white. But so many kicks unnecessarily have the aged look, what comes to mind are the upcoming Reimagined 85 UNC 1’s, those do not need the aged look at all, just solid materials and the correct shape. It’s highly overdone.
For me the white pair are better, because I like white sneakers vastly better than dark sneakers, thats it. For me Military 4’s are still my sneaker of the year. These are tied with BC 3’s, 4’s for the second spot.

I will say this...I got them via SNKRS early access today and I usually don't like back sneakers with a few exceptions (5s, 11s, 12s) but these look great in photos and if they are better in person, I imagine I will be very satisfied!
The 4 the number one for me for sure. I’d put this at number 2 and then the Jordan 5’s at 3, the Jordan 1 at 4, the 2 at 5, the 12 at 6 and the white 3 at last. Just my own personal taste of course!
These are beautiful but the conversion rate from $225USD and $60USD shipping became close to $400CAD not including import fees! Jordan Brand and Nike got some bangers coming so I held off! Congrats if you got a pair, definitely one of my fav AMA releases!
Most likely. I normally wear a size 11 in 3s but for some reason Jordan brand made the WC3 and the AMM3s toe box a bit bigger. I went down a half size for both and they fit perfectly, so I would definitely go down a half size if you want a more snug fit

I am debating getting the A ma Manière 3's now or getting the Jordan 3 black cements that are coming out in about a month. People don't have to pay resale for Jordan 3 A m Manière's if they know where to look. The A ma Manière 4's are gone and they are selling for under retail. That is probably why I got sent fakes. But there is no such thing as under retail on the resale market after fees
Honestly i like these over the first pair it's just a more wearable colorway won't get dirty so quick and the creasing shouldn't look as bad neither. This is actually my first pair of Amm i always kind of pushed em away cause i felt people always over hyped the collabs. So i went for these to really see if the hype was worth it or people just over inflating them due to the brand.
So in the world of AMM collabs … I would put this at number 4 (or 2, depending how you look at things). The 3 Air Ship collabs are on top for me. Then this one, then the Dawn 5, then the OG 3, then 4, then Dusk, then the 2’s, then the 12’s.

True blues. 4. AMM white 5. Fire reds last but not least for me are the craft joints that look like the AMMs. I don’t have the crafts, true blues or the fire reds. Debating the fire reds but I think I’ll pass on the other 2 atm.

I like them and I will go for them but, I dont really see these as a must. Definitely worth throwing your name in the hat for however, if you dont win... no big deal and on to the next shoe. BC3's coming out later and those are a must have.
