What a lovely record. And what sounds like a Ducitone playing solo and with a pianist. A Dulcitone is a keyboard instrument similar to a celeste, but softer. They were popular in Britain and the Empire from the late 19th century. Does anyone know what the other tune is from 2:13 - 2:48? It isn't the verse, perhaps it is another song from the show On with the Dance?
one of my favourite since i discovered the orpheans many years ago, it s a magical song
