@@anthonyprasad1402 Hi, I work at a consulting agency with primarly hotels and restaurants as clients. we offer full service for the most part which includes branding/ads/website etc. I'm responsible for the UI/UX of the said websites.
@@patrikmedia Thats really cool, I was thinking of doing freelance work aimed at costal/lake side hotels since those are my favorite travel spots. Thank you for the info 🙏 😊
I worked in a hostel and created two shared hostel websites. I can say for sure that there is a certain amount of guests who prefer to always make direct reservations through websites, or check a website and show up without reservation. Moreover, the owner gets less phone calls with questions about the accomodation.
Great advice! The site definitely needs a nav overhaul. A card sort exercise could help simplify the nav and prioritize that level 1 nav structure based on what users actually want/need.
Hi Ran, happened to view your recommendation about Hotel website building. Ran I wanna ask for your perspective, you see this website is built using Wordpress right, and they are probably using built-in Wordpress plugin for the Booking feature. If you want to build a Hotel website using Webflow, what plugin / integration in Webflow will you use to implement the Booking Feature? Thanks
Well, That's A Simple Answer. All Developers (Using WebFlow or Not) Need Something To Work Off Of. Just Like How The Architectural Design Of A Structure Is Drawn Out Before They Actually Build It, Developers Will Need A Design To Work Off Of When They Are "Building" The Website. I Hope That Made Sense...
It´s much faster to change, then compared to Webflow. In Webflow structuring, your design (which adds more time and thinking) is much more important than in a design tool. Does that make any sense?
Hi Ran, If you had a situation where you still has a project on progress, and at the same time there is a another potential client need your service to build a website for them, how would you manage that? Did you ever do 2 to 3 projects at the same time? Thanks
I agree on all points. Great job analyzing the hotel website. Would you recommend creating a "review video" for prospective clients (less on what's wrong, more on what could be improved by switching to WebFlow for instances client is on WP, Wix, SS, etc.) before meeting?
As of the middle of 2020, the site is a little broken (at least on my 1080p screen). The top bars don't merge correctly after scrolling, and the left bar doesn't hide how it should. In other news, I love the video; it's exactly what I'm looking for - designers criticizing websites' design c:
Why you always teach how to create websites with WebFlow? I don't want any company to have control of my code or my website. It would be very nice to see HTML5, CSS3, JS tutorials to allow people to create very cool websites without being WebFlow dependent
as someone who designs hotel websites almost every day i agree with all your points, good job on the analysis.
Hi P,
I was wondering how you got into that niche?

Why not just use a theme or premade theme. Live a divi child option.
Great content, as usual. Thanks for sharing!
Hi there, I was just curious to know why did you prototype in sketch and then build in web flow?
I think that would be a great follow up video - a webflow build of a redesigned concept.

I Don't Believe So

Simple, I'll take both jobs and stock up on energy drinks and fast food
How can we add hotel booking system in our webflow site?
some great ideas on user experience you shared there many thanks learning a lot
Hi Ran, what would it take to get you to review a site (Shoots.Video) that we're working on?
Down arrows on menus which has dropdown could have been helpful too
Very constructive review and interesting to hear your thought process - thanks.
I see what you're doing here... Best of lucks!

You should see the mobile version, Ran. The hero image carousel looks horrible.

Do you do website reviews?
Could you share the website’s link?
Thanks for introducing webflow!
It's great.

Great work man
The buttons really made me think. But steve Krug said don't make me think.
Flux is low key flexing. 👍
It is really a unique type of video.
They should have used a burger menu to consolidate the items.
This can make it look and feel more luxurious and still host all of their buttons.
I really don't get why hotels always skimp on terrible websites
