Everybody knows this Shane, but few can play it until now , you really are a diamond Shane with the way you teach , thanks for keeping the music alive , and above all making it fun
Im so glad that i finaly found the complete song on that easy version ! This is my favarite song ever and now i will be able to play it and that all because of you.....many thanks and so gratefull. I love the way you teach ! keep it up !
I purely appreciate this alternative so well presented. And I like your guitar. It's a thing of beauty, a fitting piece for a guitar teacher instead of the dime a dozen strat blech I'm seeing always.
OMG! Thank you Shane! I’ve always loved this song but there is no way I could ever get my fingers to make those stretches without having to call an ambulance 🚑. Cheers from Australia 🍺🇦🇺👍
Awesome lesson.. such a beautiful piece of guitar 🎸 playing.. Andy Summers masterpiece right there.. you are right up there with him in your technique.. pleasure to watch 😊
Another fun lesson, going to be a real test of my picking accuracy but that’s a good thing. Also looking forward to trying the scale work. Just means a bunch of practice before my loops sound any good. Said it before, the looper really lets you hear how good your doing. It really allows you to hold a mirror up to your playing. Hey, hope your having a good summer and are able to find a cool shady place to enjoy it. Thanks again Shane.
Thank you Wally - as usual, I agree with every point you make. The looper is a great practice tool indeed. All the best with it and enjoy a piping hot August, Shane
Excellent lesson, Shane! I’ve loved this song since it came out, but didn’t know those hard “yoga chords” to play it. I really enjoying and appreciated your lesson. Thanks again and greetings from Minnesota!
Thanks Shane. Your guitar lessons are always a pleasure to watch. Learnt alot from your videos. Keep up the good work my friend, big shout out from liverpool. 👍👏👏👏👏
I use to play it the original way, but by the time you get to the end of the song, well man-o-man, a bit of a workout for sure.... thx for sharing as I'm going to revisit this tune but play it this way as we are possibly adding to a live setlist and I need to save my hands for our other 39 songs lol.
Very happy to be a new patreon member. I appreciate you mixing electric guitar with acoustic lessons. Would you mind taking a moment to let us know your settings on your electric amp and guitar. Would like to find that great tone!
Thanks Mike - very glad to have you with us. Glad you are enjoying. I’m running my electric guitar through an fx processor (AX8) with just a bit of reverb and compression. EQ is basically flat. Cheers! Shane
Thanks Richard. I really like this guitar. Got it from a friend. Mint condition 2008 ES339. Gorgeous. Great song suggestion. Thanks for that. Cheers, Shane
Absolutely amazing. Please keep up the good work. What a beautiful tone you have in that guitar. Can you please make some videos about electric guitar tones, if possible. TIA
Hey, I just found your channel (and subscribed), talk about right down my alley! I have played for years but still consider myself the "Friday (or Saturday) night get together with a friend or two and pretend we can play" level player. Many of the songs you have here are exactly what I love to play. Anyway, I may have missed it but, do you or can you make one on Blind Faiths "Can't Find My Way Home"? I kind of play it something of a drop D version and would really be interested in your intermediate level interpretation of the song if possible. Thanks man! I've already picked up one or two songs from your videos and really appreciate your work and your teaching/playing style.
Great lesson and play along Shane. Does lead guitar improvisation scale start on the same frets if a capo is used on the 1st fret to keep in same key as original song?

Hi Shane -can you go over those chords again "oh cant you see ----you belong to me " --Cadd 9 and a weird E chord ?--thankyou --appreciate!
Wonderful. Could you share what specific guitar y were playing ?? Thanks

And thanks for not making my hands cramp up forever,,trying to play them yoga chords..😅
Still waiting on Mans too strong shane! Keep rockin'!
Shane do you ever stop to breathe? you're so full on 😊❤️
Great lesson and play along Shane. Does lead guitar improvisation scale start on the same frets if a capo is used on the 1st fret to keep in same key as original song?
Great point Mark - thanks. The scale would begin one fret higher than notated if playing with the original recording. Cheers, Shane
the CHORUS section---after the C add 9 chord --cant see your fingers--its a E Something chord (obscured )!
Shane.......To much coffee today dude?
Ha! Believe it or not I've cut my caffeine in half lately.....Waha! Cheers, Shane
Good lesson but GOD you talk fast...my head was spinning
Go to 75% speed play back… it’s perfect!
