- This is my first reaction to Dimash singing Daybreak.
First I watch it including the back story from Gloria Wu's channel, and then from the Bastau concert in 2017.
I can't believe how beautiful this was.
I loved this song so much, and it's one of my faves now!!
After watching this I'm even more fascinated with Dimash.

When Dimash was talking and showing video of his family, he was saying that he first heard this song when he was 10 years old. He loved the story and was moved by how easily one can lose one's family. He spoke of how fortunate he is to have a large, loving family around him always. I loved your very honest reaction. Dimash doesn't simply sing; he speaks his stories through music.

The Singer performance was amazing but the Bastau performance ... oh my God ... that is one of the most raw, passionate and vulnerable performances I think I've ever seen! This is probably my favourite of Dimash's performances and I still get chills watching it! After I saw this I knew I would be forever a Dear. His voice lost again after that performance. He said he hurt so much while he was singing but he kept pushing and don't want to dissapoin his fans. His dedication and passion is awesome. The bastau was one of the most powerful performance.

Dimash feels every song he sings and conveys the message and emotions of it with his voice and performance even when you don’t understand the lyrics. Once he said that he will never sing a song he doesn’t like or he isn’t able to feel. That’s a true artist. I can promise you that you never will get used to it. He captivates you each time and it doesn’t matter how often you listend to a song already. I have listened to SOS about a 1000 times and I’m not tired listen to it. Even when it is the same song every performance is unique and the interpretation of the song is slightly different.

Наверное вьі правьі... Я не пойму почему, но когда я прихожу домой и включаю ноутбук, сразу на Ютубе ищу реакции на Димаша....и потом часами смотрю...смотрю..., и не пойму, почему могу одни и те-же песни прокручивать по два-три раза. Уже скоро как неделя ...вот на Сабину вьішел...и снова залип..?!

I saw him talk about The Singer episode in an interview and he said he had no voice before going on stage and no voice after coming off and it was by the Grace of Allah (God) that he was able to sing it the way he did. I know he's healthy and more powerful in Bastau but just the whole situation around his Singer performance is what makes me love it more!! And I think knowing the history aids the Bastau performance. Its so emotional! 💜❤💚💙💛
The grace of God helped somebody sing a song but didn’t help all those people and the parents in the cable car accident that the song is based on. God’s great. Really great.

Dimash has been hitting your emotions hard lately but that is how it should be if not it's a waste of the effort he is putting in to make us feel something, if you want to try to lighten the load try Dearest Mother - Dimash singing on stage with his parents, it's a really lovely touching performance, you can see where some of that voice comes from.

@@sabina1118 Thanks for your reply, you are not alone with your tears that's what Dimash does to us and it's part of the reason we love him as an artist, his ability to make us feel the emotions of a song even if we don't know the language which is remarkable and very special, when I first heard the song Late Autumn it didn't have English subs but I felt all the emotions of the song, it was only after the song that I realized it wasn't in English and I didn't understand a single word, that's amazing, don't worry about feeling what you ever you feel it's a great compliment to Dimash's artistry. I have listened to this song over a 100 times since I discovered Dimash and not once was I able to hold back tears
Partly because of the sad story but mostly because of Dimash and how he sings this song and literally pulls you into it

Hello. From Brazil. I loved having separated tissue paper for emotional emergencies. haha ha. The first link is just perfect. His anguish saying he was speechless, going to cry in the corner. The injections in the throat. Competitors' support on the day of the presentation. The story of the song. The call you received from the letter's author. His effort in the presentation. You can tell that the voice is limited and still hits difficult notes. The look of pain when it was over. The author's photo with the adopted boy. This song made me felt bad and good at the same time in a way because of its tragic story...and yet,happy that the survived child is in care of a kindhearted person.
On the other hand... DIMASH being sick during the day of competition and has to go to hospital for temporary treatment seemed impossible for him to sing and the injection on his neck was really scary.Though He was so trusted to have that.....all of us dears were so scared for him specially during his actual performance which he has been unbelievably managed to sing into perfection again.
Actually,last year he was interviewed and mentioned this specific situation that made me love and respect him even more...because he said he thought he cannot sing as he lost his voice...and throat was still hurting and no proper voice still even after the treatment.He prayed to GOD (ALLAH) and he felt he gained his voice right at the moment of his performance...and he himself was so surprised because just after singing...his throat was in pain again.That gave me a massive goosebumps! And enormous love to him.

Yeah, this song is just beautiful. I knew it in the original version long before I stumbled upon Dimash and even then I loved it, although I had no idea what it was about. I had had close contact with people from Asia since my childhood and a longtime friend of mine is a Cambodian. So it is not surprising that I listened to japanese or chinese songs besides cambotschan ones, long before the anime and manga wave came to Europe.
Dimash simply garnished this wonderful song once again with a cherry on top. It is a pity that he did not sing this song in his last concerts.

Such a beautiful, touching song - and only Dimash could do it such justice (although the writer, Han Hong, sings it wonderfully well, too!). Dimash adores children and is so close to his own, extended, family that I think he finds it almost unimaginable that such a terrible thing could happen.

To me, the part that really turned on tears, was where he pleaded with his parents, "I wish to build you a beautiful garden,' as if, in his baby ideas, he thought that might keep them from leaving him.

I think you should now react to his "Arnau The Kinetic Voice" concert in front of 45,000 people. In my humble opinion this is the most amazing concert that I've EVER seen. If you react to 2 songs at a time it'll help you soak up the electric atmosphere, his interaction with his Dears is really something.
