  • In this video, my friends over at StarKnightMT have kindly sent me a new drive belt for my CanAm Commander 800. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to replace your drive belt, look no further! This guide will take you through the simple steps required to get the job done with no special tools needed. All you need is a small screwdriver to remove the plastic retainers, an 8mm open end wrench, and an 8mm socket and ratchet. It's worth noting that the manufacturer doesn't include the tools needed to change the belt, so you'll also require an 8mm x 1.25 pitch bolt to open the secondary. The bolt should have a minimum of 3 1/2" of thread. Thanks again to StarKnightMT for providing the belt. If you want to try this belt for yourself, click the link below to see it and find out just how inexpensive this high-quality replacement belt really is!

Good morning, just wanted to say thank you for this video. You showed me exactly what needed to be done and I got it taken care of in a couple hours. I'm good to go now, and when I need to replace it again, it'll be easy. Thanks again.

That clunk on pull away sounds like it could be a mount either for the transmission or the motor or driveline.

It’s really funny you mentioned that now. I was just planning on checking the lower mounts because I found a really small coolant seep that I want to address because of a creak noise now when I rock the engine back and forth. I think coolant got on the mount. Thanks for the tip. I will definitely do that!!

This is a good video after watching this I think my clutch problems could be the belt itself. My belt rides on top of the second stage fully
