Hello 👋 I have not worn cosmetics since having breast cancer and hadn't the confidence to get back out there and try things.
I will now try to get some of these products as my colouring is much like yours. I would really like a waterproof mascara as I recently lost my beloved brother to cancer and I am still very emotional and often tearful. I also hope to swim again after lockdown is lifted here in Ireland. Thank you so much ❤️😊

Oh to be young again. I used to use all these products. I love makeup still , so maybe I should try harder. My eyes are very dry and use a prescription eye drop. So the mascara is hard to use. But I really miss it. You are a beautiful women inside out. That is the most important. thanks. Joyce

I always love your rosy cheeks...so beautiful and youthful! In my opinion $15 isn't bad for good quality mascara. I think moms have trained themselves to not spend much money on themselves. We wouldn't think twice about spending that money on our family or our home. Mascara is something you use everyday. Great video, Andrea!

Tarte Cosmetics mascaras are non toxic and I believe organic too. If you get the "travel size" they are only $12 a pop. I get them at my local Ulta Beauty. They have so many options including waterproof. I love the travel size because I found the full sizes would dry out before I could finish them. And plus they are half the price.

Your makeup is beautiful. It looks great on you all the products you use. I do not have very long eyelashes so maybe I need to use a eyelash curler to get them to open up the eye area more.

I'm amazed that you can only use concealer as basically your foundation. I may have to give that a try. Thank you for sharing your non-toxic makeup and I believe every product you mentioned is not tested on animals, which is a big plus for me. Also Pacifica does make a water resistant mascara - the Aquarian Abyss

I will definitely be trying though so thank you so much for sharing I have a set of twin daughters that are 15 and they use nothing but morphe Too Faced and James Charles palette which are $50 per pallet and Lord knows we bought everyone they have so I think these would be much better for us and they're all natural and their whole lot cheaper and I will definitely try the waterproof mascara and let you know how good it is again thank you for sharing

Thanks for sharing the products you use. You are such a naturally beautiful girl. I only wear waterproof mascara too. I live in the South where it's hotter than heck & perspiration makes mascara run.
I highly recommend the butter bronzer from physicians formula . It’s so good! I’m excited to try the shadow palette. The colors look perfect.
How I wish PF would take the strong fragrance from those products like the butter bronzer.

I love Pacifica! I NEED a water proof mascara (mainly bc my lashes are stick straight and if I dont use waterproof after I curl them, they fall immediately), but the Pacifica Aquarian Gaze water RESISTANT (not proof) mascara isnt too bad for lazy days! Otherwise I love my Loreal Lash Paradise (not green but...🤷♀️) .

Avril makes a waterproof mascara but I'm not sure if you can get it in the States. You should try Honest beauty at Target for some of the other products you're not sure of like bronzer etc.

I use a spoon to curl my eyelashes they turnout perfect and it’s a very gentle way to do it. I also wear waterproof mascara, otherwise my eyelashes go down, not pretty. I love a Mexican brand mascara called “Apple Super Lash Mascara” for me is the best mascara, I’ve used it for years and it’s very inexpensive, I’m not sure that is completely clean but the first ingredient is beeswax. I buy it at a local Mexican flea market but you can find it on Amazon. Also, I’m sure you can find a video here on TH-cam on how to curl your eye leashes with a spoon.
You have be beautiful skin!! Do you use a sunscreen under your makeup ? I have very fair skin and need a sunscreen but all of the more healthy mineral sunscreens leave a white cast to my face and seem greasy . Any suggestions? I love the Pacifica brand cosmetics also. I would like to try their concealer but worry it will make my skin look too dry or accentuate the wrinkles under my eyes. Thanks for this video , I learned a lot from it!!

Try ginzing by Origins mascara. I prefer the travel size if you can get it on Amazon for about $8 but if you have to get the full-size it’s still worth it. I like the small size for the price but also because I wear it every day and want to replace it more often. It’s so, so nice to put on and I have your same coloring.

Great video! I haven’t used much in Pacifica, don’t know they were non toxic. I do use tarte, Physician’s formula products though. Well I have reddish blond eyelashes, I use waterproof year round by L’Oréal, sorry, in blackish - brown. I hav long lashes, but they are light. I’ve not found one natural mascara in water proof yet! Some one needs to create that in a lab at home. Lol
It’s funny, when I watched your last video I was thinking how pretty your makeup was and wondered what you used. Pacifica is a great line.
FYI, in the summer or if I am going on a trip, I have my eyelashes tinted so I don’t have to worry about wearing mascara. It doesn’t really make my lashes look longer but it does make my blonde lashes black. It lasts for about 4 weeks on me.

I just looked up Avril Organics as I hadn't heard of them till this video...and it looks like they have a waterproof mascara! It's around ten bucks on amazon :)

Thank you for sharing this. Is the eyeliner a soft pencil? I wear contacts and can’t pull my eyelid taught. I look and look for a softer type pencil like they used to have the crayon type eyeliners and everyone seems to have stopped making that size thickness😢
Hi Annette! I would say it's a soft pencil, yes! I wear contacts too and I don't have any problems with it :)
If I put mascara on lower lashes I always end up with raccoon eyes.

Searching on the ewg and clearya apps, unfortunately it seems anything waterproof that's on par with the Pacifica mascara is going to cost roughly the same or more. I do wonder if others might last you longer though? Back when I wore mascara daily, I feel like I was able to go a good 2-3 months with decent payoff. I wonder if the Mineral Fusion or Well People ones are any better?
The physicians formula has talc.so not non toxic but I wish they were but most their stuff has talc
Use your more expensive waterproof mascara during the summer when you might go to the pool or lake. The rest of the time use the less expensive non-waterproof. That is until you can find your perfect mascara that is more affordable. Love your makeup.

Hi Andrea, thanks for this video. Like you, I found out how toxic most make up is a couple years ago. I stopped wearing make up since then because I thought I couldn't afford clean make up. After watching your video I decided I'm going to try the make up you use. One thing I really need to know is about your skincare routine. Could you please recommend to me what products you use to remove the make up and what moisturizer you use? I have very sensitive skin. Since I haven't been wearing make up my face doesn't break out and I only use water to wash my face. When I wear make up I know I will need to use a cleanser to remove the make up. Please could you reply to my message as soon as you can? I am eager to wear make up again but I want to get the right facial cleanser and moisturizer.
Hey there! I've been doing a second-round purge of toxic/potentially toxic makeup and it's definitely been tough finding items that check all the boxes! I've been using the EWG and Clearya apps to help with initial research and have gone from there. Clearya in particular has really helped me to focus on ingredients rather than on brand alone, and to better understand the overall ratings of a product. So far most items are still quite pricey, but I have come to find that I really don't need as much as I used to think I did, which is especially true when we use good makeup!
Items I have tried and liked are the Ilia mascara (bought a sample size) and the HAN bronzer for contour (better pigmented than the elf palette I was using). I've also been using PYT blush, but just learned it may contain some amount of titanium dioxide, and same with HAN blush...still researching more on that.
Current foundation considerations for my own preferences are Juice Beauty and/or Ilia. I'll also be trying Heritage Store's Rosewater and Glycerin to use as a moisturizer/primer/setting spray, depending on how it performs.

I guess I wouldn't consider it an overly non toxic product BUT it is cruelty free, It's the essence false eye lash princess mascara. They do have a waterproof one. It is about $4.99. I like it and I think it is actually comparable to higher end products
I use Essence, too! It’s awesome. And so reasonable. I don’t know about the toxicity of the product, but I don’t really care, specifically when a product is simply on my eyelashes and not on my skin. I’m no scientist, but I highly doubt the product is making it anywhere inside my body.
You might want to check out Alima Pure. All pure, natural and non toxic but looks beautiful. Affordable too!
Oh, and everything lasts a long time too 😄
