You should focus more on your skincare routine then.. because nothing can hide skin texture, foundation can only hide uneven skin tone or hyper pigmentation. Meanwhile primer can blur some pores that are not too big. Good luck! ❤

    - Put products on your hand
    - Warm them up on your hand via patting and mixing the product
    - concealer after cream blush as this is more forgiving
    - Use a dry clean beauty blender for blush as it picks up product better

I almost fell into the rabbit hole of solely using Charlotte Tilbury b/c her products are actually very good. However, except for the serum (which I'm still looking for) I have found almost all drugstore, or at least much cheaper, dupes for all of her products. La Roche Posey rich cream does the same job as the magic cream. Physician's formula has the same bronzer. I found the best cream blush at my local ECO store, although Revlon makes a kickass blush for $18, I only tried b/c my mother doesn't believe in spending gazillions of dollars on make up (thanks mama). Makeup Forever has a great concealer. And the last, but not the least, I have yet to find a powder that's better than my Mac powder. Maybe it's just my skin, my face but I honestly haven't found a better powder, no CT, not Dior, definitely not Chanel.

As others have said...Sagonia is absolutely gorgeous, despite makeup! But truly, this concept of using the hand as a warmed palette, rather than applying directly to the face...of course! This makes so much sense! But that is not what people seem to be doing. Yay for this video!!! All makeup wearers need to see this video! (BTW, I am an artist. I paint with oil, acrylic, and watercolors. No matter what medium, style, or painting technique I use, I NEVER mix paint on the canvas. I always mix on a palette before applying to a canvas/paper/etc. It makes perfect sense that this applies to painting your face too.) Thanks Sagonia!

    • @ece.a
      @ece.a ปีที่แล้ว +2

WELL Charlotte Tilbury product tubes are mostly air, there is so little product in the tube when you first open it there is no way you want to waste this much product on your hand + in the sponge. If you use CT like this probably the 3rd application around you'll run out of it :D That being said, I'll definitely try this with other products where the tube is not empty, costs €45 and you have to fight to get it.

Of course. Continue to do that if it works for you. I don't. I blend colors on canvas but I don't actually mix the paints on the canvas. @@LyraDavis

Also, I completely missed you specifically used the word ‘mixed’ and was thinking about blending! Yes. I actually DO agree. I don’t mix in canvas I blend! That’s what I get for staying up to 2 in the morning. My mistake! Thanks for not talking to me like the idiot I was! Have a good one! Cheers!

Thank you for your tips. if you dont have under eye circles you can use a light cover with the sponge. however, if you have dark under eye circles they need more coverage. when you apply the concealer directly under the eyes not too much and let it sit a minute the coverage is more pigmented. I noticed you are fortunate not to have dark circles so the application you use for concealer was right for you.

I couldn't stop looking at how beautiful your teeth are. I really am going to try this method because I'm finding my makeup is starting to look cakey and I can see the transitions from it on my face, plus I'm an artist and it totally makes sense. I usually don't wear a full face if foundation. I like to put on concealer under my eyes and then I just dot on a very little bit of foundation only on the discolorations and blemishes on my face. I'm starting to get a little older and I think I needed to change my routine. Thank you for the advice.

Thank you for this video. Been struggling with the rare beauty blush. It keeps looking patchy. I’m going to try with a dry beauty blender ❤

Your skin looks so beautiful you don’t need any foundations

Yes, your make up does look flawless, but you started out with flawless skin! I don’t think there’s any difference between putting down the serum and then adding the foundation afterwards or mixing them together unless you want a lighter foundation look. I’m going to try your blush technique, but I usually just use a brush, a blush brush to apply cream blush, and I just started doing this recently and hands-down this is the best application for my cream blush, which is the Mac bouncy blush. I do want that pinkgasm now that I see it on your skin.
Warming up any product before you put it on your skin is definitely going to help it become one with the skin but you can also do this by dotting it on your face and letting it sit for a minute because it’s not really warming up much when you’re bouncing a beauty blender on it. It’s the heat from the body that creates the heat not the heat from a beauty blender bouncing on your hand… just saying, but you do look absolutely gorgeous!

Yes it's not called warming if used beauty blender, beauty blender is not a hot thing😂😂, she used her good skin to show that how she have knowledge about blending😂 rubbish video

Yes I’ve always put foundation on back of my hand since a kid in the 80s always use moisturiser before. Blusher I dab from hand and use fingers to blend. She has perfect skin though!

the observation I have is all the wasted product - the amount on your hand is WAY more than is used on your face.

I agree, same thing I thought. 1/2 of the contour went on, and that CT contour is so expensive, like girl...
For the foundation it's a completely good idea but I'd use a brush.

Me seeing the thumbnail: So looking like you have grease from a frying pan that was used to fry 10 eggs, is IN TREND NOW? I don't get it. It just looks GREASY and not clean. Y'all are taking this "natural glow" from within trend too far.
