For people that don't get it, there's a rule in place wherein If a group has 1 team that is in the top 3 with less than 2 wins, then the top 4 team from the opposite group will take their spot. Of course, assuming the top 4 team from the other group has 2 or more wins, which Sen has. This means that if EG, LOUD, Furia, and MIBR all lose their next games (Which is very likely to happen,) then Sen will take the third spot from the Omega group.
EG vs NRG
LOUD vs SEN
Furia vs Cloud9
MIBR vs G2

@@zp24th which is also likely as well. Derrek and jawgemo are still extremely talented individuals that can make plays. Also depends on the maps they decide to ban/pick. NRG have a really good track record on some maps (breeze, ascent)

What happens if this all plays out, EG doesn’t win a game and SEN beat Loud and Furia, but G2 beat MIBR and Loud? They’ll go to map differential? Could be important.
Map differential, then if that is the same as well then it goes to round differential.

Im looking at KRU, their next 2 are T100 and Lev, probably lose both those matches. Next is NRG has T100 I'm thinking they lose that, who knows EG might upset them aswell. Only safe team in alpha group is C9. Everyone else is due atleast 1 more loss, 2 in the case of KRU.

Furia and MIBR need to win their next 2 games to make it which is very unlikely. Furia has to beat both C9 and SEN, while MIBR has to beat both G2 and C9.
EG has to win their final game against NRG in order to qualify, otherwise they’re out

It’s do or die for ALL of the Omega teams except for 100T and LEV, who are pretty much locked if the above teams flop like they’re expected to.

If a team on the group doesnt get 2 wins, they cant qualify
no 6 but if loud and eg don't get at least 2 wins (which is the criteria) the 3rd spot from group omega will go to group alpha instead and 4 teams from alpha and 2 from omega will qual in that case
To qualify a team must have at least of miminum 2 wins. So if only 100T and LEV have 2 wins in their group, 4 teams from the other group qualify instead.

It will come down to map & round different which favor kru because they only lose 1 map so far unless they lose 2-0 both rest of the matches.
if sen go 4-2 that means they beat loud, and if nrg also beats eg, that would mean only 1 team from group alpha doesn't go through, so they'd only have to win a tiebreak over one team. if nrg loses to eg, you pray nrg also lose against 100T and g2 don't perform better than sen.

Furia and MiBr MUST win both of their next matches respectively, which is a very tall order considering the teams they’re up against. They are basically 99% out with the 1% miracle run to make it to playoffs. EG does need to lose to NRG for SEN to make it to playoffs, which does seem likely. If EG can pull of the upset, then they do solidify their spot and SEN can’t make it to playoffs. G2 has to win both of their matches to tie with SEN (assuming SEN wins their next two as well) which would then come down to map differential (comparing total maps won/lost) and if that’s tied it goes all the way to round differential (comparing total rounds won/lost).

Then SEN can’t make playoffs due to the 2 win minimum rule. EG must lose for 4 teams from Alpha to qualify, as well as no other team on Omega can have 2 wins. So all SEN have to do is 1. Beat Loud 2. Hope that EG loses 3. Hope that G2 doesn’t win both of their next matches 3a. If G2 does win then SEN have to beat Furia 3b. If both SEN and G2 win both matches then it goes to map differential (total maps won/lost) 3c. If map differential is still tied then it goes to round differential (total rounds won/lost) 4. Hope that Loud or Furia don’t reach 2 wins (they can control this since they are matched up against both teams)
