I got my landing gear spring yesterday ! That's take just three days, I was surprise ! I Will install the landing gear spring this morning ! Some People's cut the retainer inside the factory spring ! Don't think it's a good idea ! And the little plastic plate with 2 screw I d'ont trust this piece of 💩 ! So the twin timber spring will be much better for sure ! 👍
New timber turbo evolution for june 2024 ! the same one with the same price 329.99 $ new landing gear spring ! new speed control, 70 amp ! bigger weels ! and the receiver with telemetry ! and a better look ! the windshield its dark gray ! look really nice ! it's a pre-order ! 👍it's a good news!
Nice and easy ! Really like your video ! I order this kit, so I receive the twin timber screw set ,but the spring are back order everywhere ! So I'M waiting for ! 💙👍
Good video and you did a great job demonstrating. I came up with a landing gear mod for my TTE using parts ment for the floats. One of the aframes can be used for spring action. Now I snap axels, not springs. I bush bounce my TTE pretty hard. Cheers
Another option is to remove those wires that are inside of the spring coils. They are there to limit/stop the springs travel distance. When ever that limit distance is reached on a hard landing, the energy ends up bending, stretching, and breaking other connection points. I do like the newer springs that you put on here, and the new TTE has been upgraded with these better springs from the factory along with a 70 amp ESC.
It was this and other feeble design features on the turbo timber evolution that made me decide never to buy another eflite product. Your video has prompted me to bring my plane out of "retirement"

Unavailable, of course!!!
You've wasted your money, all you have to do is remove the hooks from the standard springs, then they'll last for ever
Maybe you can explain further.

It seems eflight liked my solution, now the turbo timber ships standard with the parts I took from the Twin Timber.
