Awesome hunt, congrats on the agate! You find some awesome rocks!
I don't find many agates, so this was a really good find for me.
When I saw you guys all bundled up I thought this was an old on that I'd missed. :) 90 degrees down here in west Texas. :) I'm glad you've monetized this channel. I've learned so much from you that I'm grateful for a way to pay is back a little. :)
It has been a very chilly spring here. We saw a big iceberg in Lake Huron on our way up there. Today was nicer, almost 60!
Beautiful!!! Congratulations on finding such a nice solid agate. It seems to have some water level in it, and I like the way it has other colors that pop out at you. The red is a nice touch, and the translucent blue area almost glows. I'm happy for you. Don't worry, because a pounder will happen for you. You have very large hands which makes it difficult to guess the size of an agate you show on a video.
I’m 6’2”. That’s fairly tall, but I don’t feel like my hands are all that big for my height.
I was pretty excited about finding such a big agate. That one is easily four times bigger than any other agate I’ve found.
Loved the video! I would want to take them all home! So beautiful.
Beautiful trip & beauty finds. Congratulations & greetings from PL 👋
Thanks!
Thanks for the video, I needed a fix! Lol!
You'll be seeing a lot of outdoor videos for awhile now.
Beautiful finds, is still so cold?
That was filmed on Monday, so it's not old at all. I'm four hours south of there and today it is 56° as I type this at 3:50 pm. It's at least sunny this week and feels much warmer than it did that day.
Beautiful founds! Tomorrow morning, I should be on St-Laurent's shores, maybe in Becancour, maybe at Pointe-du-Lac!
I don't know where you're from. Is that a long way from home? Are you rock hunting?
Sure! I'm nearby Trois-Rivières in Québec.
@@nathaliebergeron9573 Ah, ok.
It’s about time you found a big one!
I know! How big is your biggest find? Have you found one over a pound?
some nice finds well done 😊
I'm going to try to go to that location this summer! It'll be a great day trip.
I think you’ll like it.
Nice haul from that beach! Can't wait to see what you do with that chunker of an agate!
Hey Jason! I oiled it with mineral oil, and that's all I'm doing. Those are so few and far between that I like to just keep them as I found them.
Cool finds. I so love going to the UP in the summer. Can't wait till I get the chance to go. Nice intro Nancy.
I love it up there. Found a couple more little pieces of driftwood for you.
Oh thank you Rob. I really appreciate you doing that for me. Not sure how soon I will be coming up there but I will before too long. Thank you again.
@@donnalantz7981 No hurry. They're safe in my garage.
LOL ok. I didn't think they were going to go anywhere. LOL I will let you know when I'm headed that way when I can come up. What's the best way for me to contact you?
I felt cold just watching. I loved the big patchy 'dinosaur egg' I would have lugged that beauty home - for no particular reason
The green one? That one was cool.
Enjoyed…. Thank you!
Awesome rocks, looks cold!!! Nice find on that agate! Hope to visit that beach soon!
Good luck when you do!
Oh man! Nice agate! Did you find it wet, or in the water, or up on a dry stretch? Thanks for sharing another excellent video!
Although I said that the dry rocks are a better place to look, I found that right at the edge of the water.
For a U of M guy, you sure like green rocks ! Lol
Yep, you caught me. I do like green rocks. I taught for Alpena Public Schools for 30 years and the school colors are also green and white, so I can always claim that's why I like them.
Hi... Beautiful area... TY
Congratulations 🎉. Always fun to have a good find
That's always the hope, but not all hunts are so successful. That was a good day.
Grandmarais and White Fish point is my favorite place to agate hunt 😁
Anywhere in between is good too.
Nice one , greetings from Sweden 👋
I don't think I have many viewers from Sweden. That's fun that people from so far away watch my videos.
@@MichiganRocks right haha ? You are an awesome person , happy i found your channel ! Hope to see it grow 👌
Wow! It looks cold! You are super brave to walk that beach in that weather! That big agate is super cool! You guys have the coolest rocks! Every rock is so colorful, and super pretty! Whether its collectable or not, they sure are pretty!
I guess they're all collectable. Some are more sought after, but all that really matters is if you like it.
I would have been jumping up and down & yelling if I found that agate!! So cool!
I was pretty happy about this one.
Emocionante !!! Tantas piedras...me da envidia porque quisiera estar con ustedes en ese hermoso lugar 😊😅😂.. Saludos 🤗🇪🇦
Some people are fascinated by rock's and I'm One as well 😳🙂 TY for sharing !
I don't know if you're a King fan, but that banded rock @13:00 reminds me of the stone Flagg gives his henchmen in The Stand. Great video, nice to see the shoreline and enjoy the views. Keep up the great work!
I do like his stuff, but I haven't read the book or seen the miniseries. I just looked it up and see that it's considered his best book, so maybe I need to read it some day.
7:50 checkerboard something-kite 👍🏻
Unakite.
I was hopping you’d have some pictures of that agate at the end. Awesome find man
I know I should have, but I was rushing to get the video edited. I did post pictures on Instagram. instagram.com/p/CdO-8n4rzsY/
@@MichiganRocks that thing is awesome, it reminds me of a planet
