I'm SO SO SO happy for these kids and this organization. They deserved every second of that thunderous applause. Amazing corps, amazing talent, amazing show - favorite of the season. Well done, Regiment!
What an angle. Love seeing the crowd go bonkers. I didn't follow this season as I was in mourning due to the loss of my alma mater Cadets. So that little "tribute" to them at the end (I'm guessing that is what it was?) was fire!
@@andrewm.8228 Its their slogan/motto. Bluecoats has BLOO, Mandarins have OTK, Compared to other corps slogan “SUTA” is a bit more complex. “SUTA” is PR’s motto, but it is a secret acronym by the corp, and fans have adopted it as PR’s cheer. The true meaning of SUTA is only known by people who’ve marched, and it’s meaning is only fully understand after so. There’s speculation as to what it truly means, but I won’t get into that out of respect for the corp.
@@evanmnichproductions Yeah it’s both, “bloo” just came to the top of my head when initially writing that comment. Bluecoats has done such a good job at brand recognition, it sometimes just flies over your head!!
We didn't watch the same show. Bluecoats were very clean at finals. Especially percussion and brass. While Phantoms show was very emotionally charged its design was nowhere near the complexity of the top 3 corps and the scores reflect this. I loved the show but they and crown were clearly not on the same tier this year as the top 3. And Bluecoats took design to a new level with all their exposed hits. Even the guard who had numerous tosses and catches that had to hit at exact times that were very exposed by silence when they happened. Their show took absolute execution. Which is why it is now ties the 2022 BlueDevils as the 8th highest score in DCI History.
@@carterwaite4665 in that case I would argue the Troopers should be champions. Their show was a blast from start to finish. But complexity and execution do matter.
Nobody was overall cleaner this year if you take all the captions into account. And GE is a big part of the score which Bloo has heaps of. Easily deserved the win
Need more drum corps at this angle I LOVE IT
absolutely
Really, wow.

I thought Bluecoats’ motto was six words

It was so loud there with the crowd 😂
Love this closer !!

Those people screaming what sounded like “sia” right when it got quite were behind me in Atlanta and I think it goes so well with the show
They’re screaming SUTA, which is the corps’ acronym and saying. I think the first time the crowd yelled it during a show was in 2003 in the closer
These are the camera angles I want, not pit members during crown sets (sorry pit members, Allentown was a travesty)
Can't hear a thing. Good Ol Luke. Worst acoustics in the world
Only the 50 to 40 region works. And very well. Everything else is horrendous.
This, BD, SCV even better n cleaner than the winner. But well, that’s a game.

-guy who doesn’t know or care about how these shows are scored, and thinks the most fun show should win
