I haven't seen this one since it was on The Last Drive-in with Joe Bob Briggs. I keep forgetting how effective it is as a horror movie. It's definitely one of the best animal attack movies out there. Great reaction 🙂
Good to see you again GD I just looked up your channel a couple of days ago, I thought maybe TH-cam had unsubscribed me or something like they do sometimes. Glad you're well. Another topnotch reaction, love this film, caught me off guard too, I was expecting a pile of garbage but was pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to your next one.
First video I saw on the channel was Jungle book 1994 and I knew I was gonna love these videos especially as a fan of horror as I am. It's tough to juggle rl and YT so thanks for putting these out, Much love! ❤️
I'll bet they cut out the legs and arms and stuff being graphically chewed off. I mean, COMMERCIAL NETWORK TV was a $h!ty place to see movies like THIS one.
Low budget movies can be a training ground for people who turn out to be very talented. The movie was written by John Sayles, who also wrote Piranha and The Howling among many other movies. Lewis Teague wasn't the greatest director in the world but he directed Cujo and Car's Eye, which are both entertaining Stephen King adaptations. Robert Forster did a lot of great acting work. He worked with everyone from David Lynch to Tarantino. He was even in Breaking Bad. This movie is an example of what happens when it all come together perfectly.
That’s so true so many talented people start off in good old low budget films. I love Piranha and the howling both really got under my skin. Thank you for the film facts.
20:12...😱 I 1st saw this movie as a kid, that scene with the pool scared me for life... ever since then I never wanted to go into a pool without seeing what was in it 1st... And definitely no night swimming.
I seriously thought the guy at 17:08 was Martin Scorsese. lol and i never caught on that the alligator was her pet alligator her dad had flushed. Fun fact: certain shots used a guy in an alligator suit. the man in the suit? Kane Hodder.
With the Fourth of July coming up, I'd highly recommend reacting to the 2004 animated action comedy movie Team America: World Police for its 20th anniversary, if that's OKay? It's written and directed by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park, which means the movie is outrageous and absolutely hilarious. It's great because it makes fun of American action movies, American militarism, the foreign policy of the United States at the time, people's reactions to America, and America's standing in the world. It's a really smart movie that way. It's also one of the most impressive movies ever made on a technical scale. There are no humans. It's all Marrionette puppets. Every character in the movie is a puppet, and everything is animated that way. It's also extremely brutal and bloody. It's one of the funniest movies ever, and I think it'd make for a really fun reaction 🙂
Well if you were going to keep going with the animal attack movies, I'd recommend the 1976 killer bear movie Grizzly. Grizzly is kind of a knock off of Jaws but it's pretty gruesome and fun.
Thank you kindly for the suggestions. I have done daybreakers but the rest will be first time watches. Also good timing on primeval thats my next one lol.

I watched this on Movies! This movie is crazy 🤪 😂! Siskel had this as one of their Dogs of the Week 😂😂😂😂!
Alligator and Alligator 2 are very much the proto-Lake Placid, but with great practical effects and some pretty gruesome kills.
14:22 it was her alligator!!!
