As the owner of a lexus GS350f sport 2013 I took a drive in this car and whats crazy is that I had the same experience its the best car Iv'e ever driven and iv'e driven a lot I couldn't believe how well it drove its the first car that made me smile my audi never even did that it drives like the 2014 A8 and the 2014 BMW 750 which cost ALMOST 100K if you drive this car you will buy it best car in its class and above its class period. I CANT IMAGING WHAT THE CADILLIAC V WILL BE LIKE EVEN IF YOU DISLIKE THIS CAR YOU SHOULD AT LEAST DRIVE IT ONCE IT WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT GM.GUARANTEED.
Love everyone making recall jokes In the comments. I guess they can't handle the truth that this cts beats the germans at their own game. I would buy this first anyways. I have always had better luck with GM then I've had with European cars.
Agreed
Holly Crap… This is car is pretty amazing. Why would anyone get a Mercedes or BMW? This is truly luxury.
Hell, I got respect with driving a base CTS 2.0L when doing Uber. This is even more awesome.
WOW not one thing that I dont love about this car. Love the looks, love the power, the materials, the amenities. EXCELLENT JOB Cadillac.
Even the old CTS rids like a charm ...
I love everything about this CTS. This review actually convinced me to finance a Caddys CTS turbo2 leather AWD over a Buick LaCrosse premium. thank you for such a great review👍
I've had mine for 2 weeks now. Love the engine and handling; CUE isn't my favorite. I agree the list price of ~$72k is a bit much, but GM threw in $6k in rebates, and the dealer was thrilled to negotiate to make the Q2 sales numbers before June 30.
Do you still have the car if so how many miles and any issues?
What an amazing car.
Man that car is stunning!!!! I've seen them going down the road and that front face looks like some kind of batmobile coming down the road....very imposing.
PREACH!!! I love that big grill 2014 version ;-D
This makes me wanna drive my 3.6 n/a off a bridge
nah man grab them twin turbskies and itll be ok
Thanks for this one! This car has been on my eyes
Love the exterior shots and drive bys in this vid.
13:25 that sound 👍🏾
I thought these were one of the most beautiful sedans when they first came out back in 2013 & they still look stunning here in 2021. My boss recently bought a slightly used blue on white 2019 CTS with 2.0 turbo 4. It replaced his old 2004 Acura TL which was starting to have a lot of problems. I personally would never buy one mainly cause of Cadillacs long term reliability (My parents had a 2004 DeVille which had non-stop problems for the seven years they had it) as well as those horrible touch sensitive buttons which I've sampled in the past at auto shows & they only responded not even half of the time. I currently drive one of its competitors, a 2016 Lexus GS350 F-Sport currently with 49k miles & hasn't had any problems so far as expected.
What a great and thorough review. Now I want one!
If you have a chance get one, they only made less than 5000 Vsports in the 5 years they were produced. Right now they are priced almost the same as the other CTS models, and it's like owning a baby supercar. These Vsport review videos convinced me, all the reviewers couldn't stop smiling, so I just bought a 2016
For everyone thats lazy to watch the video.
The V sport is an upgrade for the cadillac which puts the ATS V twin turbo V6 motor in the car. This is the closest spec before the CTS V model.
lovely car and fantastic review thanks man i enjoyed it
Love this car and a great review !!
Even though I think I know why you are in Cleveland, of all places , You belong with your fellow reviewers , even though you have endless supply of Caddys .
I think your qualification flourish more, in the professional group.
Mercedes, отдыхает! Американцы просто породили меня!
On the sound, I think my Fiero GT sounds pretty damn good. Really the sound of stock GM or any manufacture's V6s for that matter depend on if its stuck in performance based car or not. If you change the exhaust though, a 1996 Buick Regal will sound amazing.
I like the new style of your reviews now. Starting to compete with 2theRedline, lol. Did you know that Sofyan was reviewing the same car as you?
The V with the V-8 Cost As Much but it had the older styling.
So if the cts v costs 30 grand more I wonder what Hennessy could do with the v sport and 30 grand. Bet it would out run the v
Hey Chris, are you ever coming back to 2theredline?
Where is Ohio? haha Great Review! you sold me kid.
fantastic car...thats for sure :-)
Let me explain something to you people. I am a Automotive Quality Professional by trade. Most of you have an impression that recalls are a bad thing. Recalls are good for you personally. First off, OEM, (GM, Toyota, Mercedes, Audi, etc.) do not make the car parts and components, they just assemble all the components together. The parts are made by suppliers. Things go wrong at every supplier, and OEM, yes every one. Sometime its workmanship, sometime its a bad design other its just poor decision making (management). The difference is if they voluntarily let you know about it and take steps to make it right.
Most other don't recall because they are afraid to damage their reputation. Most put reputation before your safety and well-being. I will guarantee you most of you are driving around with some defective or at least questionable components on your new car right now. And the suppliers and OEM are aware off it. If you do happen to notice a problem dealer warranty will replace it. Most, damn near all OEM and suppliers are " don't ask, don't tell" . Hell, why would they.
Every time there is a forced recall by the Department of Public Safety, the find evidence that the company knew about it.
I am in the business.
So, much props to GM and anyone who voluntarily recalls does so. Unlike others who shall remain nameless. (oh, these floor mats make my car suddenly accelerate and won't stop) hint, hint.
Well done review

People in my country don't buy a lot of American cars..(I have one of the few CTS's in the capital let alone the country) gonna buy one of these in a year god willing and there won't be a single cop in the country who will know to check it :D :D :D :D Can stash all the weed in there and not worry about a thing!
Very nice car !!
WANT!
Could I swap my I4 2.0t for this engine?
very nice car, put a diesel engine in it and you can sell it in Europe too.
Can this be better than w212 e class
Are the heated seats only on the 14 V sports? Been looking at different used v sports and can't find a v sport with reat heated seats.
i'd change that freakin grille. that's for damn sure.
how many airbags does it carry
not worth 70k but i wil admit tis is the sexiest cts they have made. looks wise.
I love mine. It's honestly the most fun car I've ever driven. I've had Camaro SS, a Corvette, Impala. The v sport is a lot of car !
This car is sexy!!!
Excellent vehicle, test drove the Vsport and for the money is a far better buy vs Mercedes E Class and BMW 5 Series, both Germans being bloated by the Euro. As for the negative trash comments from the status driven euro moron fanboys below congrats to the gentleman who correctly points out that auto manufacturers are basically assemblers these days and recalls while annoying are certainly the domain of all vehicle producers. That said, I could not be happier with the Ford and GM products I own and can certainly see myself owning a Cadillac in the future.
Sounds a little subdued for my liking

THOS CAR IS BITCHING
2008 tcs
Looks like a complete package this car. Just waiting for the V8 CTS-V.
Show us the engine!!???!!
11:36 12:01 Beautiful
woow
That's one sexy Caddy. Too bad it'll be recalled next week.
I bought my '14 new and it's still going strong. I love my car so much that I re-watched the videos about it. I'll probably keep it at least another five years. I don't see anything available right now but I am thinking about the Corvette C8. Another great GM product.
Wish the wheels were an inch bigger.
bighosre10 There's a larger option available.
Price it, Not cheap!
I can get my fruit cake friends to brunch so fast 😂💀
Dear Mr. You must contact me because you are about to be Famous!
That power sliding cup holder for thing Just seems unnecessary and will probably be one of the first things to break
Still working on my '14 and I love it!
:)
Yeah, just bought a 2016 and it is not working, you have to pull it yourself
Too many BMW references that weren't pertinent
Just wait till the electronic latch breaks on the glove box, cup holders or storage pocket behind the touch sensitive pad and you get pulled over for speeding and can't get the the registration or proof of insurance. That'd be funny.
Five years later on my car, 80k and none of those things have broken - all original. Going strong! Love my car!
Charles Hein you have any issues would you recommend the car at 69k miles?
@@jankoakovic3564 STILL love my car! I'm planning on keeping it another five years. I'm having to replace my CUE screen but other than that, it's been very reliable. With that said, be careful of used sports cars-of any brand. I'm on the forums and some drive the living crap out of their cars. Find a good and you'll love it! PS get a premium not base
Charles Hein thanks how miles you got and why not the base?
@@jankoakovic3564 less than 90. The price difference between the premium and base is pretty minimal at this point and you get so much more stuff
For $70,000 does that include ignition failure and endless recalls.
Of course! It's free with every gm car
I've had 3 Caddy CTS, 05, 11 and now the 2014. One recall on the 05. Sent me a letter in the mail. Like this video mine is Black Raven with cashmere/burl wood /suede. Many have the Park Assist. Dam thing finds a space, the steering wheel starts to vibrate, then parks itself. Wild!!!
Worked at several dealerships that sold BMWs and Benz's....and those car companies have their fair share of recalls. You almost never hear about them because the recalls are all taken care of when you as a customer drop your car off for the mandatory services.
For all of yall talking can yall even afford a German car?
Great review haha gays do everything best 🌈
It's still a cadillac. And a $70,000 cadillac at that, I'd rather get a BMW 550i Xdrive considering that I do live in a state where AWD is a must. They don't even offer the CTS V-Sport in AWD.
While there is truth in your comment, you can get AWD on the 2.0T version & non-turbo 3.6L V6 for over $15,000 less than this Caddy.
The 550i X Drive is a badass machine and overall probably the better car because of the usable interface but I test drove a 535i and it felt floatier than BMWs of old mind you it didn't have the M Sport suspension option but even then the steering also felt feather light. I don't like the direction BMW is going and they have some ridiculous features like active sound which pipes in sounds from outside which is plain weird.
***** in my opinion the 550i xdrive with the M-Sport package looks better that the CTS V Sport.
you can get the twin turbo its which is the same motor but a bigger car and get awd its a very nice car
***** yeah i don't like bmw their interior isn't my favorite personally i think if your spending that much money you should get a nice touch screen display like in all the new cars including the cadillacs
first
congrats, do you want a cookie or something?
no I want your mom ;)
Juan Rocha F--- you!
