Thanks for the comments and Tips. A good tip I received for rubbish was to take plenty of those very large dog food bags with you. Get friends and neighbours who have large dogs to keep them for you. They are very tough and if well sealed will suppress the smell. This is in addition to your suggested Tips on rubbish because the hyenas will rip almost anything apart. Great channel. Am an avid follower.
November, 2020, I spent two days at Chitake & five days on the floodplain. At the height of the pandemic, I had the entire park to myself and I believe it’s Africa’s best kept secret.
I'm so excited getting this notification that I almost pulled over to the side of the highway to watch. 😂😂😂 I suppose I'll have to wait a bit and keep the suspense going 😅
Thank you Villiers, do you perhaps have a map showing your route closer to Mana Pools, indicating the places for shopping, fuel, accommodation, etc. as you highlighted in the video?
Unfortunately not, but like I said, there’s a Pick n Pay in Chinhoyi and filling stations in Chinhoyi, Karoi and Makuti. And don’t forget The Lion’s Den for meat just north of Chinhoyi
Villiers, thank you so much for the very informative video. We were there in 2012 and have been put off going back because of the price. When you said $100 for 6 people I nearly fell off my chair. Is it really that for 6 people? I thought it was pppd. I see the conservation fee is $15 per person per day. How much was the vehicle fee please?
@@hichameboudjebha1884, there are definitely lions around Nyamepi - we just didn’t see them while we were there. Too busy photographing elephants and birds 😅
@TheSafariExpert great news thank you very much my freind and we hope see you in sabi sand to explain to us all what we need to visit that special place
The camp sites use to all have trees, now I am talking 30/40 years ago. The trees have died/disappeared making the camps sites feel odd ... Once it's gone it's as if it never existed.. rings very true here
Excellent video, super informative packed with fantastic tip. Thank you very much for sharing all of this recommendations.

This was great. Thank you.

I would say Karoi rather than Chinhoyi is the last town that you could reliably get fuel and groceries. The next fuel is Makuti, but not reliable
Maybe a strange question, but do you actually live in Hoedspruit? Great video!
@@robertstyppa, yep - go watch my Wildlife Estate Diaries series on the channel 😉
@@TheSafariExpert will do. I love this town. Just back since 1 week, but next trip already in the making :-)
@@TheSafariExpert have you ever been to the hoedspruit retire center? Amazing place … th-cam.com/video/I-VlkK_4Pw0/w-d-xo.html
You sould walk around in the camps and search for scorpions with a black light
Thank you for a most informative video. The $ amounts you are referring to is that US $ or ZIM $?

A little known fact, the beauty of Bulawayo is that they will also accept Rands where most other towns in Zimbabwe only accept USD.
