  • Ask and you shall receive! I have had a huge number of people asking about a tutorial on how to do a proper kettlebell snatch, so here you go 💪
    If you arent familiar with the Kettlebell Snatch, this is a great chance for you to add this to your arsenal and develop good form!
    This movement works the entire body from head to toe and is considered a pulling movement.
    Taking the kettlebell from the top position, absorbing the weight and then changing momentum at the bottom takes a lot of strength and explosive movement while also requiring control.
    Now you know the secrets to a good snatch, so get after it!
    If you are ready to test out your skills and dive into a kettlebell program, you should check out my 8-week single kettlebell program! 👇

    Eric thank you for these videos. I’ve been doing your program for the last two months and I had to go back and watch the clean technique video again because i was killing my wrists after increasing bell weight. Love your stuff. Got my wife into some of the simpler stuff too. Extremely grateful and thankful for what you do and glad to be part of the savages.

    Great teachings🤗 For me after hurting my back and hip a bit, the dropping the kettlebell scares me most when heavy. I think I will stick with lowering like a cj & jerk🤗

  • @ALF782

    The key is to spiral the weight around the wrist. It's timing and form. Gets harder after a few sets with the last couple of reps. God knows I've smashed my wrist a few times with a 24kg kb. Wrist guards are essential for the novice.

    • @sebp400
      @sebp400 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      well, if you spiral you don't hit the wrist, it rolls around.. pretty sure Pavel would be against wrist guards.. ah ah. you gotta be one with the kettlebell.

  • @steverliu1886
    @steverliu1886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It looks like there’s no swing part of it, you just lift it from the ground with no swing?

    • @TiredFatherOf2
      @TiredFatherOf2 4 ปีที่แล้ว

  • @medelmontesinos6621
    @medelmontesinos6621 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    For the snatch and clean, are you able to put a swing motion into it? Or is it just better to take it off the ground?
