2:15 also, not to be a nerd, but we talked about this in our physics class! The earth does actually rotate very fast, at about 1,000 mph. However, the speed doesn't fling us off since we also move at 1,000 mph. Our matter comes from the ground, which inherits the rotational velocity of the planet.
Awesome set, awesome review Jimmy did a great job The functionality of this set, showing how the calendar works is very cool The printed earth is a great piece(s?)
No more being a Tornado Jimmy, just be an Explorer... This was a great episode Alex, I love Jasonsbricksin5 comment about where your going to be storing your Legos...
We have attached the handle and the only thing that spins is the top middle peg none of the gears on the side, is this right we have reassembled twice!
All those gears should be turning. Sounds like there is a slight miss on something. Lots of gears, so not sure how to help you unless I could compare it to mine. I guess all I can really say is good luck.
... whoa flashbacks to the years of toy lab tv i had to watch with my boy. Looks better than expected from your review, to leave it exposed they should have used metallic silver or gold, or even better drum lacqured it.
It would be impossible to make in scale, if the Earth has a 5 studs diameter the distance between the Sun and the Earth should be 56300 studs and the diameter of the Sun would be 5500 studs in diameter so it would seriously have to build outside, 5500 studs is 144 feet
Fun fact: the suns pull on the moon is stronger than the earths pull on the moon. Meaning that the moon orbits the sun, and just circles the earth as an after effect.
It's a really cool device for educational purposes for sure. But even as an amateur astronomer, i'm sure i'll get bored of it pretty quick. Better keep the money to buy a 100% useless décoration set as usual 😅
This was a fantastic and fun review--mostly because of the new co-host! 😊 I wish I was a science teacher so I had an excuse to purchase this set.
Wondering what flat-earthers think of this
Tough time to be a LEGO fan and a flat earther.
They would claim it's fake and NASA forced LEGO to build it like that
Fake and CGI are their main arguments
They should all be in mental hospitals
Such a cool set! I just ordered mine…
Sucks that it’s circular and not elliptical.
Jimmy rocks! He is a natural in front of the camera! Great review and great set!
He did awesome! So fun when he makes a video with me. That was a fun one.
Jimmy looks good in my chair. So this is how Alex is finding more space for his Lego, storing them in his kids room.
This 1 Jimmy definitely will keep in his bedroom...
😂
Oh, Jimmy ❤😂 Best video of the year, IMO!

Cool. LEGO should bring back the planet sets from Star Wars
It would be awesome if they incorporated Keplers elliptical orbits instead of the Copernican circular ones.
Awesome set, awesome review

Well done, Jimmy. 👍🏻👍🏻
This set looks really cool. I am not much of a Technic guy so I probably won't get it but I do appreciate the review. Awesome!
I’m wondering if the earth and the moon rotation/ orbit is accurate.
Great review guys! I'm already thinking about which of my microscale Enterprises I'm going to put in place of the moon. 😂
That is BRILLIANT!
the intro had me crackin up, man lol awesome video

Great review! Learn as you build and learn after it’s done. Cool set!

Third Xs a charm 😎

Wow! How smart is jimmy 🤯
Nice set but it’s educational so it’s going in your room Jimmy
Jimmy is already great in front of the camera. Future talent
Can we get an Alderaan and Death Star next?
That would be a great idea for "expansion packs" 😊.
Awesome review. I will have to tell my daughter about this one

I learned something new! Thanks
I think those moon phases are the wrong way around between new and full moon, right?
Or at least from a northern hemisphere perspective they are.
I tnink so
How about motorizing it?
I think this can be done relatively easy for sure.
It's probably not on sale yet...
Bro try to review Lego 42170 in next review ❤
One million earths
Better look out…. Hes out to take your viewers, your likes and your entire channel….
