I felt the gentle pace at which you delivered the images and information combined with your natural non-judgemental sensitivity led to an excellent piece of film-making. I'm currently struggling with a family member in a similar position but confess I have not attained the grace and understanding with which Damo appears to view her father. More reflection required at my end, methinks. Anyhoo, keep up the great work. Best.
My soon to be wife is from Chamni, Buriram. I'm from USA so now only visiting every 6 months. I think about moving there instead of bringing her over here. She is fine either way. Not an easy life in the village but everyone is so nice and I like that. House floods every time it rains because the village is in the middle of a rice paddy(makes sense). Many mosquitoes too😂
Yeah man - you've got everything right there! Realizing and accepting that a simple life can really make for lots of happiness is a valuable asset to own! Who needs all that junk, anyways? And about "wanting the best for ones kids". Your parents time, love and attention IS the best thing a child can get and is irreplacable! What always gets to me when I visit "my" rural village is how content people seem to be. Sure, there is some hardship as well, and some have to work really hard just to get by, so I don't want to marginalize that. But most folks still seem very content, and don't really need a lot of extra junk to be happy and have a lot of freedom in their lives. Really fun episode to watch, again great soud track...and that bar just came together perfectly!

Both Damo and you wear very nice looking Thai woven pants in gorgeous colours lately and I think I saw them on a rack on that festive market (for the yellow flower trees) you visited two weeks ago. How about selling these kind of trousers on the channel as some kind of nice part of Thailand- and support for your work? If you buy them wholesale for say 150 baht and sell them for 500 (plus shipping paid by the customer) it could make some extra money. Since Damo already sells clothes online (even if that's only for Thailand) it's not a big stretch. I would buy one for me and one for hubby! But no elephants pants please ;-)

Actually the reason we have so many is i bought to sell but the shipping is too high internationally and domestically people have access already :)

Try keeping your chickens in large open spaces instead of coups, this may keep them from dying
They are temporarily segregated from the open space as the disease they got was in that area, we hope to get them back soon
