So awesome to see Mark spotlighting these communities and teaming up with the Thailand tourism authority. He always keeps his audience curious, and always brings us something new & fresh. So much respect! 🙏

nam ngiaw is the best thing ever. im half thai myself. Every two years I will always visit my grandparents with my mom in the chiang rai maesai ban dai district. northern thai is a different vibe compared to the rest of thailand.
For whatever reason, Bangkok has always been my magnet for Thai eats. I think a lot of that has to do with the international diversity of food available in that city, as well as the chock-full supermarkets like Emporium. Getting Ethiopian and Syrian food by Sukhumvit Soi 3 was always neat. I've been to Chiang Mai, Phuket, and Hat Yai one time each, but this video is showing me that I really should explore Chiang Rai for the laab (and jungle curry?).
A Thailand video, always good! Been living here for 3 months now and it's the best decision in my life to move to Thailand.
