Oh how you take me back to my childhood and how you explain the process of life to Otis is so warming. Great blog and I can't wait to get back to my wife in Lopburi so we can share our lives together. All the best to you all. Les.
This was a fum video to watch... As a Buriram expat myslef i love seeing your flowers and plants and what you guys have growing so well... It would be cool to see a dirt/plant episode for locals.....I feel like i know what grows well here but its hard to see what you have going on there because there is so much!!!! oh well....stay sane
WE are slowly adding our range of plants to lazada, including san pedro cactus coming soon, now we have hawiann baby woodrose and heavenly blue morning glory. Howdy neighbour!
hi I watch you programs every to or three times a week keep it up its one of the best on you tube .you can see that you are both well in love with each other and have a lovely family .what's Hugo done to his finger .keep it up xxxx
Swarming bees that make hives in tree branches. As a 6 year-old, I used to harvest them with a burning coconut husk and a machete out in Ban Nikhom Khao Bo Kaeo in the early 70's.
Hai Ryan..that's not wasps..its flying termites..its very natural during the hot and wet seasons..definitely they will come..always attracted to light only at night..
I'm so happy for the mother pig 9 baby pigs as your mother in law was so happy to see including your plants are so great by your ideas that it's still able to grow it again by the seeds in the plants leafs like my dad's plants too...!
Its funny Ryan, I speak Thai fairly well (20 years in Thailand) and I speak a little Khmer (8 years) and many of the Thai & Khmer words are the same.. Sunglasses same (vanta), Drinking glass (gow) etc etc.. Khmer will be easy for you if you didnt speak Thai, because its a total mix bag of things and your mind goes directly to Thai once you hear a 'Thai word" in Khmer... Love the opening montage BTW.
In Sisaket they are starting to give farmers the opportunity to upgrade from sor por cor titles and nor sor sam titles to chanote. Originally the great grandfathers cleared the jungle to make rice fields with permission from the government.
Good work out 😊 those juka logs are heavy wood - I know 😂 I worked with it - smell Oily 🤔 but the bugs don't like them . I love the song 😊 and Turkey 🦃 tails

Hey Ryan, how much does a piglet sell for? Also i have a content suggestion, could you go over the cost of keeping your pigs, chickens and other animals? Is the feed cheap? I would find that intresting and so might others who are considering having a homestead 😊 just a suggestion, sorry if you have done so already and i have missed it. Take care
Hi if selling in bulk maybe 1000 baht each, if they are trained and selling individual it depends could be up to 2000. Yes I will try to cover in the vlog 🙏
OMG...please don't tell me that the wonderful little girl in your videos suffer from SLE..... I always get a special little smile when I see her in the videos....reminding me of my own daughter as a young girl..... I hope she is getting proper care for her lupis. My heart bleeds.....
Sounds like rural Thailand had something similar to the Wild West. 🤔i wonder if these things happened at the same time in history. I lived in a small (5k pop) farming town in Montana and all they were all related too🤣🤣
I know a family from Prakornchai, Slaengton, the father was the village "nack laeng" village gangster and when he got old and sick the family got some pressure on them, people wanting revenge..
my partners village are mostly her family relatives. the village was formed from her ancestors and a few other families, most of the land is nor sor 3 or sor por kor, land rights given to the landless, i don't know if the government actually followed through with their promise of last year to convert 22million rai from SPK 401 titles into NS3 so they can have a land title. interesting how thailand will seize land from hotels and resorts illegally using SPK 401 land and give it to more landless farmers. great video again ryan!
Another great episode guys, The insect infestation at night is annoying, hopefully they will move on soon. Living among extended families is a great thing..Be careful your sons do not fall in love with a first cousin though! 555 Yes, Damo getting in the pig pen to see the babies is something...getting close to mama pig I would not try personally. All turned out fine , Circle of Life is a great lesson for children. Thanks again guys, Peace and Love Y'all PS: Ahh, old Thai traditions. I see too many farang men on YT boasting/displaying a master-slave relationship they seem to have with their Thai spouses and are proud of it...yet inhumane to me. To each their own, we all have different ways of sharing work and responsibilities
Just arrived in Roi Et after teaching English near Pattaya - want to explore my partners parents polt - they have cows and rice - sick of the obsession with globl control - self sufficiency looks like the way ahead p just turning 70 - hope I haven't left it too late -
'shrooms are sooo dangerous to pick oneself. Can lead to organ shutdown and a lingering and painful passing... Never ever ever pick your own mushrooms unless you know for sure... Chris macandless back in the day and the infamous Australian incident just recently are two good examples.
Bit like Crimea; Mine mine mine... Mine mine mine.. Middle east; Mine mine mine.. Mine mine mine.. Just an excuse, fundamentally,to exercise our human nature. The movie,'The day the earth stood still,' Both black and white original and Keanu reeves remake are good examples. Shit,am I waffling again? They only let me out, when I escape!
People still intomidate and even kill over land today in Thailand. Especially in rural areas. Changing paperwork and land boundaries, bribes, burning down of warehouses with paperwork. Happens a bit on small islands with no police presence.
Maybe there's an entomologist here that can explain the wasps - I've never seen anything like that before either - moths, flies, cockroaches, all yes. But wasps at night? Nope. It might be your super sweet personality mate, radiating from your soul that has attracted them? LOL
Ryan, have you ever thought about creating an online course teaching people about the benefits of mushrooms and how to grow them? A friend of mine has a course teaching people to can vegetables, another has a course on woodworking and another on quilting, all make a very good living. I partnered with a guy on a course about crypto trading, the profits from that course allowed me to not work for 2 1/2 years. Anyway, it's something you seem to have a passion for and the profit potential is good, so might be worth thinking about if putting it together and learning to sell it is something you're interested in.
You could probably do one on off the grid living or rural living in Thailand too, though having spent a lot of time near Seka I don't know why anyone would be that crazy...admire you for it and the content you and Damo put out though 😂❤
If you want to lose that tummy. I know how from life experience, go to Immigration jail.. they feed you 25 Bhat meal or in Bangkok rice with chicken juice and cumber 3x a day 4 months of that and that tummy gone
No plans personally. But are you saying that even if you bought your thai girlfriends family estate(clearly it can not belong to you as a foreigner),but it might not even belong to your thai girlfrend? But in fact the thai government?
Ryanina - that’s your new feminine name for doing girly work…😂😂😂…your muscles are growing from carrying the groceries…😂😂😂…there is no shame for either of you doing what you enjoy doing. Love your videos
A whole series of terrible events happened to me in Thailand due to people trying to steal out land. I was nearly killed. Mafia, dodgy police and foreign criminals working together.

Use smoke to deter bees before they nest in your home especially under the roof.

The Khmer dialect there is different than kandal province, Cambodia…which is to be expected of course…fun to hear the differences
I read somewhere that thunderstorms disturb wasps/bees. It could be that your flashing light (simulated lighting) is disturbing then.

Ryan - we have an Aussie saying ‘Punching above your weight’. No disrespect but you are very lucky man to have Damo in your life. 😂😅
I think we all noticed the size of your "guns" lately. Pants seem fuller too, ha. Good nutrition, exercise and a great cook in the house, lucky man.
