Is it ok to used it in 8speed 11-42T cogs?
Is this compatible with 36t?
Sweet
Yep, pretty decent
is this compatible to L-TWOO 2:1 A5 shifter?. i have 9speed cassette on my MTB is it Compatible?.
compatible with r5
Is this compatible to sensah ignite 9s shifter?
Yes
i have 2by chainring (50 and 34) and current setup of cassette is at 11-28. can i upgrade the cassette up to 32/34t? thanks
Depends on the rear derailleur
@@Jamesthebikeguy my rd is sora 9s r3000 GS :)
were you able to upgrade it jerson roque??
not yet man. ill upgrade once its due for replacement. right after abt 3000kms.
@@jersey07a a great choice to do so, good to hear that, what is your groupset btw
Is this compatible on 11-32t?
Yeah maximum is 34
Can I use shimano Sora for 11-36t?
I don't think so, even the long cage version of sora can only accommodate maximum of 34t
Shimano is very conservative when it comes to compatibility. On several forums I see people mounting 12-36 on a Sora with no complaints. I'm gonna try the same soon.
Yesterday I just installed my 10-speed 11-36T and it works, but it’s a bit reluctant. The B screw needs to be the tightest.
can be adopted to 42 T ?
You "could" with a wolf tooth goat link. You would however be much better off replacing with a Shimano Alivio M4000 first
@@Jamesthebikeguy ok thanks ya
I had Claris R2000 with 11-40 cassette and works well without any adapters. Works even better than rd-m4000 Alivio MTB. Road Claris and Sora are more precise.
Kinda noob question but can I use this on a MTB?
No it is not compatible with MTB shifters.
It is compatible with 9 speed Alivio shifters. And vice versa road shifters for 8 and 9 speeds can work well with mtb 8 and 9 speed derailleurs.
@@pithaller9791 So I took a risk and I am actually using a long cage Sora rear mech with an Altus 9speed shifter. It is working perfectly.
@@wintergreene795 Great to hear it. I mixed before Claris R2000 roadshifters with Alivio RD M4000 because of cassette 11-40 however went back to Claris RD as this one is amazingly precise. I like it so much I do currently new mix in other bike where Alivio shifter will be workong with Sora RD. My old RD T4000 is so so (like a rubber made) and I count on shifting improvement with Sora.
@@pithaller9791 The Sora's rear mech shifting is amazing on a MTB. I had it on my road bike but I went up to Tiagra so I figure I put the Sora rear mech on the MTB and sell everything else. I'm glad I did. People just find it weird I had it there lol. I will be upgrading to an Alivio or Deore soon. I'm not a heavy trail or downhill biker just mild trails, long rides and mountain biking so the Alivio or Deore is good enough for me.

Composite plastic? What are you smoking haha
Most plastics are composite. In this case it's a composite of different materials such as fibers within the plastic.
@@Jamesthebikeguy Whoosh. Watch which part you were calling composite plastic. Why do I even bother since this channel is an Amazon affiliate farm anyway.
I look forward to you beginning to upload videos the "correct" way.
